on-stage energy was through the roof - which led to audience energy reciprocating. Saw the original version, which was why I wanted to see this ... different staging ... different times. Still extremely entertaining. My only complaint was that the company numbers were so loud that you couldn't really make out the voies or the lyrics.

I had read the reviews - performers racing around tracks around and amongst the audience. It sounded unbelievable - I had to see it. I arrived at the Theatre to soak in the atmosphere and to see the auditorium (plus find my seat) to be told that we could not enter until 20 - 30 minutes before the performance started. The doors opened and the staff were briliant in getting everyone to their seats and all Safety announcements made. Once it started I was mesmorised by the skills of the actors doing what they did on skates and the speeds around the tracks - especially the two 'marshalls' on their scooters - and they sang. I have been asked if the show met my expectations, my respose was 'far exceeded them. I would love to go again and sit in a different part of the auditorium for a different experience but the show, very sadly, finishes soon. To anyone who is in doubt, if you can GO - you will will thoroughly enjoy the show.

This was a spectacular experience. Starlight express was the first play i ever saw and it was so fun to be able to being my son for his first theater show. He was so excited about all of the disco balls as we walked in. His favorite part was Electra's costume- his jaw was wide open during Electras while song! The entire cast was phenomenal, thank you for making this such a memorable day for us both

Absolutely brilliant. I first saw this show about 40years ago and it is still fabulous. Atmosphere is amazing. Ever character were just as brilliant as each other. They all made the show ! Costumes were fabulous. Funny moments, jolly moments and sad moments. A great show to see. Highly recommmend and would go again for a 3rd time ! My daughter thougt it was just as brilliant as I did.

Fantastic setting, incredibly talented and accomplished performers, suitable for youngsters of school age, grannies and everyone in between. A wonderful experience. So sad that it is closing or we would definitely have considered a return visit.

A magical adventure! Put aside all preconceived notions of what a performance should be and relish the delight of a sight and sound spectacle that goes beyond imagination. We loved this show, even my teenage son who's not easily impressed.
