It was an easy to use the bus to get a great overview of Oxford. One thing that kept me from a five star rating was the partially poor quality of the audio signal. I am not sure if the ears plugs or the connector was the problem, but sometimes the signal was scratchy and fading.

As older travelers, we struggle with too much walking so the top of a double decker bus is such a great way to tour a city. The commentary explains what the wonderful buildings are and gives information on architecture and history. It was such a pity that the prepayment system proved to be so problematic. That spoiled what would have been a five star experience.

Oxford is a gorgeous City. Fun sitting on the sightseeing bus. Unfortunately you have to pay more if you book your ticket online. even with my 10% discount. It's cheaper buying it directly from the driver

Our tour guide was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and friendly. It was just the right length of time for us to get our bearings. We will definitely be back to take advantage of "hopping off" a bit more.
