We went in the Woodstock entrance so had a beautiful vista of the bridge and then the house , both of which were stunning. Very welcoming guides that explained where to go and stories of the restoration. What a lot of care is taken of the house. We were privileged to see 5 of the private rooms , maybe because scaffolding was in the great hall. I especially enjoyed the downstairs and the Churchill rooms . Wanted a bus around the gardens and my husband couldn't walk them , but there were no spaces . Maybe some advice on booking these would be useful as this was our only disappointment. We did find a little train that took us to the butterfly house and walled garden , there is also a pizzeria there for those that like pizzas. We were lucky with the weather . If you lived nearby it would be worth buying a yearly ticket as there are lovely walks around the estate. The best bit was they printed me out a ticket as I had problems navigating it on the booking . Made it so much easier to show it when needed . Great day out

On our 50th Wedding Anniversary we choose to visit Blenhiem Palace the staff were great and the guide Deepak was simply wonderful and extremely knowledgeable

Directions good, though ticket very obscure. The venue good. Unfortunately Booking this way meant we were unable to upgrade to an annual pass. So feel let down hyvthis, as we would have visited again.

Well organised. Polite helpful staff. The state rooms at Blenheim were well worth visiting and the history of the palace fascinating especially the development of the Churchill line and Sir Winston Churchill's place in it and his life story. I also enjoyed the royal family photography exhibition in the library. The grounds are extensive and well worth exploring. Also the water gardens and the views over the lake are lovely. I was so pleased a printed visitors map was available as an alternative to an on-site guide which personally I hate.

It was brilliant, beautiful palace and lots of history about Winston Churchill and Robert Peel, who was ahead of his time trying to achieve equal rights for women and Catholics. The Great Hall was magnificent, and was used to accommodate the injured soldiers returning after WW1. They must have wondered what was it all for, we were shell shocked and injured in the trenches, while the aristocracy lived im luxury. Thankfully life is better for most people in Western Europe.

    I showed my e-Ticket at the entrance kiosk but was told to walk back to the ticket office (in the rain!) and get paper tickets. We had to queue up in the rain behind people buying tickets on the day to get paper versions of tickets I had bought in advance. No apology. Left me feeling angry and, because of the rain, soggy and uncomfortable for the day. Why do we need to get paper tickets for an online booking?!
