It was really interesting to learn about the historical side of the tour, and the guide was very friendly. We would have liked a few more stories related to the synagogues and some explanations inside them, but we understand that they are sacred spaces and that it would not be appropriate to create additional noise.

The tour guy Peter is wonderful. He is knowledgeable and humorous. You can also see the enthusiasm in him tha he is not just working for money, but he enjoyed what he is doing. We enjoyed the tour and are very impressed by him. Learns a lot from him.

You'll find the importance of this structure to the Jewish community from your guide. From here, you'll walk to the Jewish Quarter, also known as Josefov. Learn about the Jewish history of the area and why it is considered one of the most important historical monuments in the city.

Head to Pinkas, Klausen, Maisel, and Spanish synagogues and the Old-New Synagogue, Jewish places of worship that have witnessed various anecdotes through the years. Your guide will tell you all about the significance of these locations. Finally, visit one of the oldest cemeteries in Central Europe - the Old Jewish Cemetery. You'll find thousands of tombstones here, some of which belong to people renowned in the local Jewish community.

Strict dress code: Entering the Jewish Synagogue premises inappropriately dressed is prohibited (e.g. without outer clothing, with exposed arms, shoulders and abdomen, in a swimsuit, without shoes).

It is recommended to wear comfortable footwear as this tour involves a fair amount of walking.
