I visited the Empire State Building 25 years ago on a high school field trip as a 16 year old kid from Ohio. Now as a parent myself of a 16-year-old child, I wanted to give my daughter the same breathtaking experience of seeing New York City from the world's most famous skyscraper, the Empire State Building! I was blown away by the updates. We loved walking through the second floor museum and there were many opportunities to take photos. We loved the picture opportunity with King Kong ! Also it was awesome to learn and see how the building was constructed in under 1 year back in 1930. Overall, it was well worth visiting again and we enjoyed every moment that we shared together on the observation deck of the 86th floor. Whether it's your first time or you're bringing your children for the first time it is something that you cannot miss out on experiencing. This is it, The Empire State building and there's nothing like it in the world!

The booking was very easy and enjoyed the 15% discounted price and everything went smooth. We had no hassle when getting the ticket to the Edge. Wow we had fun watching and got busy taking spectacular views outside. I would definitely make a booking through head out.

The Edge was fantastic! But, there was a weather warning and I wanted to cancel. No one on the phone was available because it was after said time. But weather does not have a time limit. The news said it would be very very bad ( flood warning) in NY and I wanted to cancel. I checked online and you have 5 reasons to cancel. Weather is not one of them. That was scary and frustrating. I do. It know how you can resolve it- but when we went to the Edge and spoke to the lines people at the bottom- they were surprised that I could not cancel. That being said God changed the weather for us and it was amazing!!!!! Also nobody really was up their and I got to embrace NY and just loved it!!!! Such a great experience!

ingresso veloce e senza problemi, indicazioni chiare, vista dalla terrazza bellissima, saliti all'ora del tramonto abbiamo atteso l'accendersi delle luci della città per goderci un panorama notturno mozzafiato. Nelle sale interne molto belli il Caleidoscopio e la Caverna, anche se l'esperienza nelle sale interne potrebbe essere migliorata (per la parte intera è molto più coinvolgente quella del Summit), comunque nel.complesso vale la pena!

Getting started

Arrive at each attraction at your selected timed entry slot. Have your ticket ready for scanning at the entrance. Expect standard security checks at both locations before you proceed to the elevators and exhibit areas.

What to expect

Empire State Building

A classic NYC landmark known for its open-air 86th-floor deck and Art Deco history.

Access immersive exhibits on the 2nd and 80th floors.

Ride to the 86th floor for 360° outdoor views.

Use free high-powered binoculars and download the multimedia app via free Wi-Fi.

Edge NYC

A modern sky deck known for its angled glass walls and glass floor at 1,100 feet.

Visit Level 100’s indoor and outdoor decks.

Step onto The Glass Floor and lean over the city through the Angled Glass Walls.

Try The Skyline Seats and walk to The Eastern Point for a suspended corner view.

Your ticket includes the Sky Assurance Weather Guarantee and access to seasonal events like Pinkamas in the Sky.

What to bring

What’s not allowed

Empire State Building

Any kind of weapon, including firearms, sharp objects, or explosives, is strictly forbidden.

Glass containers, bottles, and loose items like marbles cannot be brought inside.

Oversized bags, rolling luggage, and suitcases are not permitted.

Outside food is prohibited, and eating is not allowed inside observatory spaces or on the outdoor deck.

Professional camera equipment, tripods, and bulky gear are not allowed.

Only trained service animals may enter; pets are not permitted.

Edge NYC

Large bags, luggage, weapons, and costume props are not allowed; standard backpacks and handbags must pass through security screening.

Tripods, selfie sticks, balloons, and similar items cannot be brought in.

Bikes, scooters, and skateboards are prohibited.

No outside food or drinks are allowed, except sealed water bottles; glass containers are not permitted.

Only service animals are allowed; personal pets must stay behind.

Strollers need to be folded before boarding elevators or escalators.

The site is fully ADA-accessible with ramps, lowered viewing zones, and accessible binoculars.

Accessible restrooms are available on the 86th floor.

Service dogs are welcome across all public areas.

Both manual and motorized wheelchairs can be used throughout the attraction.

Fully accessible with elevators and ramp access throughout.

Limited on-site tickets; advance online booking is recommended.

Expect 60–90 minutes for the full visit; the immersive pre-elevator exhibit on Level 4 may take 30–60 minutes.

The outdoor sky deck is weather-exposed and may feel different from ground conditions.
