Group예약 확인3주 전5/5The museum was awesome. I had some problems with the tickets because research online said that under 18 was free so I only bought 4 adult tickets instead of 6. I purchased a package group where I got the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum tickets. Because I needed two more tickets, after arriving at the Acropolis museum, I had to go buy them but could only purchase the museum tickets and not the Acropolis tickets. I had two people without museum or Acropolis tickets. The Acropolis was sold out so we could not buy them tickets, but also, when I purchased the tickets, it was very small and unclear that I had a specific time. I thought I could attend both anywhere between the hours of 3 to 5 because that was the block it mentioned. Bottom line, we paid for four people to go to the Acropolis, but because we missed our tour time due to small print that was easy to overlook, we were not able to visit the Acropolis during our visit to Athens, from America. We were hoping to go the next morning, but the tickets were also sold out then. Our only hope is to try to see it when we come back through for one day on the 30th.MMarsaoui L
Merci ☺️NNatasha W
Group예약 확인2026년 6월5/5Visiting the Acropolis was one of the highlights of my trip to Athens. The history, architecture, and breathtaking views of the city are truly unforgettable. Standing beside the Parthenon and seeing these ancient monuments up close gives you a real appreciation for Greece’s rich cultural heritage. The site is well maintained, and the information provided helps bring its history to life. I would recommend visiting early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the crowds and the heat. A must-see destination for anyone visiting Athens. Highly recommended! Wear good footwear the walk can slippy at times and take plenty of wawr as can be very hot.JJay K
Couple예약 확인2주 전5/5With only a two-day stay in Athens, we were able to spend hours at the Acropolis on our first morning then used the buses to see many sights in the city. From the antiquities at the National Archaelogical Museum to the changing of the guard at Parliament, the bus got us there smoothly and with very short wait times to "hop back on." On day two we saw Piraeus and some beaches. That tour was highlighted by a relaxing dip at Lake Vouliagmeni, then back into Athens for shopping and dining in Psiri. There is no way we could have packed so much into our short stay without the convenience of the Gray Line buses. HIGHEST recommendation!RRuben M
Group예약 확인2주 전5/5Wij vonden dit echt een aanrader.
From the Acropolis to the Ancient Agora, see Athens’ most legendary sites with a guided tour or explore at your own pace with a multilingual audio guide.
Getting started
Your visit begins at the Acropolis, where you’ll either meet your guide at the designated entry point or start your self-guided tour with an audio guide. If you’ve chosen a guided tour, your expert will introduce the site's history before leading you through this ancient citadel.
What to expect
The Acropolis
Walk through the Propylaea, the grand gateway to the Acropolis, and soak in sweeping views of Athens. Explore the Parthenon, the crown jewel of classical Greece, as you learn about its construction, famous sculptures, and how it evolved over time.
Visit the Erechtheion, known for its elegant Caryatid columns, and the Temple of Athena Nike, dedicated to the goddess of victory. Your guide (or audio tour) will share the myths behind these temples, including Athena and Poseidon's legendary rivalry for Athens.
Head down to the Theater of Dionysus, the birthplace of Greek drama, where ancient playwrights once staged their works. Stop by the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, a Roman amphitheater still hosting performances today.
Acropolis Museum (optional)
Upgrade your ticket to explore artifacts from the Acropolis, including the original Caryatids, the Parthenon Marbles, and the Frieze of the Parthenon. Visit the museum’s underground excavation, where an ancient Athenian neighborhood is preserved beneath glass floors.
Old Town (Plaka) (optional)
Opt for an Athens Old Town audio guide to explore Plaka’s historic streets, Byzantine churches, and local tavernas while learning about the city’s evolution.
