The butterfly exhibit was a great experience. We took our mother for her birthday and she loves butterflies. Also, the dinosaur exhibit we really enjoyed.

Would definitely recommend a visit to the American Museum of Natural History. Easy and no hassle to gain entry with barcode tickets using a dedicated line and we were all amazed at how many exhibitions and artefacts there were! One of our best things we visited while in New York

A great museum especially for the young...starting at five or six years old. The Hayden Planaterium was well worth it. The dinosaur exhibits outstanding.

The staff were extremely accomadating with an error with the tickets. Vistsing the mueseum was a lifelong dream of mine, so many fantastic specimens and exhibits!

The exhibets themselves were very good. Handicapped access was very difficult: unclear how to enter museum, VERY limited elevator access (only one elevator was working in one of the elevator banks). The museum tempeture was very cold

The Museum has a parking garage at its 81st Street entrance and a subway stop at 81st Street – Museum of Natural History, where the B and C trains stop.

If you live in New York State, you can choose your own admission price, by showing a valid ID at the entrance.

The museum offers free entry during the last hour of the day, from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.
