This premium overnight desert experience immerses you in the natural beauty and cultural richness of Dubai’s desert. Start with an evening heritage safari in a vintage 1950s Land Rover, where a conservation guide will introduce you to the region’s flora and fauna. As the sun sets over the dunes, enjoy a falconry show, witnessing these birds in action. Afterward, retreat to an authentic Bedouin-style camp, where a four-course dinner awaits, with traditional cultural activities like henna painting, Arabic bread-making, and the chance to unwind in a majlis with shisha. With the camp’s power switched off after dark, the atmosphere is serene, letting you relax under a vast sky filled with stars, perhaps even catching a glimpse of the Milky Way.

What to bring

Bring your sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, comfortable clothes, and overnight toiletry kit. You can also carry a sweater or scarf for something warm to wear, especially before sunrise. Carry an additional blanket for your overnight stay.

It is recommended to bring one overnight backpack or carry-on per guest, not exceeding 50cm in height, for your stay.

What’s not allowed

Safety is a priority, so this experience is restricted for children aged under 5 years.

Keep in mind that large bags are not allowed on this experience.

Accessibility

This experience is not recommended for guests with adverse health conditions, who had major surgery in the last six months, a broken arm/leg in the last six months, or chronic back or neck injuries.

Vegetarians and those with gluten intolerances will be accommodated. Please inform of any dietary requirements at the time of booking.

Additional information

Hotel transfers from Dubai will be in a shared, air-conditioned vehicle. Each vehicle can accommodate a maximum of 5 guests.

This hot air balloon experience is weather-dependent. The pilots reserve the right to cancel the flight if conditions are unsuitable. In the event of a cancellation, an alternate date will be offered or a full refund provided.

Depending on age, children on tours may need to use booster seats or other approved child safety seats. The operator reserves the right to refuse children on tours for safety reasons.

The overnight stay will be in stone dwelling rooms, with mattresses, sheets, blankets, and pillows included.

There are shared bathroom facilities at the camp. Keep in mind that there are no shower facilities provided.

Experience a peaceful sleep free from noise and lights, as the camp’s power is switched off from 11pm to 6am.

Although uncommon, some harmless insects may be present at the desert camps. Regular pest control measures are conducted, yet the operator is committed to preserving the desert ecosystem as much as possible.
