We took the earlier cruise 630-830. Cruise was well timed, food was great, service good, and the boat, although almost full of diners, didn't feel crowded at all. We didn't have a window but the windows and mirrored ceilings were great. We enjoyed being on the open top deck with the cushioned seats and spent most of our time there except when eating.

Seine River cruise in Paris was incredible—not just for the views of the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and Louvre Museum, but also for the excellent service and food. Go past the Louvre pyramid glowing orange. Absorb bright yellow reflections on a deep blue river, courtesy of Orsay Museum, a grand former station. Pass under the intricate Alexandre III bridge connecting Champs-Élysées to the Invalides monumental complex and Eiffel. Did you know the Eiffel Tower, where the cruise stops for its glittering light show, was almost dismantled and sold as scrap? Luckily, its use as a radio transmission tower saved it, and today it's one of the world's most visited monuments.
