SoloVerified booking2 weeks ago5/5Absolutely loved Musée d’Orsay! I’ve visited twice and it was one of the main reasons I came to Paris. Both times I spent over three hours and still only made it through the top floor — the paintings are incredible! The staff were lovely and very helpful. I stopped for dinner at the restaurant this time — fresh and delicious, but very expensive for my budget. My suggestion would be a short video explaining Impressionism, the artists and Paris at the time. Having to read was tiringUUwe H
CoupleVerified booking2 weeks ago5/5The museum has a fantastic exhibition of Impressionist art—Van Gogh, Cézanne, and Renoir. It's definitely worth seeing. We were there on a very hot day, but the museum is very well air-conditioned.ZZehra U
SoloVerified booking2 weeks ago5/5I really enjoyed my visit to the Musée d’Orsay! The museum is beautiful, and seeing so many famous paintings in person was such a special experience. Booking through Headout was also very easy and convenient. Everything went smoothly, and I would definitely use Headout again for another museum visit in Paris.CChristine K
SoloVerified bookingLast week3/5I was a little disappointed because the audio guide was in English. It wasn't possible to change the language. I only used it to find my way around the site. I don't recall seeing the language specified in the description.RRaemen P
GroupVerified booking2 weeks ago3/5Exhibition overall ok in terms of art work. Follow through from one room to next via audio guide was difficult.
Save money and time with this combo ticket, which offers access to two of Paris’ must-visit attractions: the sightseeing cruise on Canal Saint-Martin and the Seine and the Orsay Museum.
Sightseeing cruise on Canal Saint-Martin
Your Seine and Canal St Martin cruise starts with a peaceful glide along the Saint Martin canal. As you sail, you’ll pass beneath charming footbridges and through the hidden vault of the Bastille. Navigating through the canal’s locks, each reveals a new sight, leading to the Bassin de la Villette, Paris's largest artificial lake. The journey finishes on the Seine River, with views of Paris’s famous landmarks like Notre Dame. The cruise culminates on the Seine River, where Paris's iconic landmarks like Notre Dame unfold before your eyes.
Orsay Museum
Once inside, you are free to explore the museum as you like.
Once done with the sightseeing cruise, the Orsay Museum with early 19th-century sculptures and classical paintings awaits you. Explore French Realist and Symbolist art and gain insights into the cultural and artistic developments of the late 19th century. Stroll through the exhibits of sculptures and decorative arts, including furniture, and other artifacts from the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods. One of the Orsay Museum’s best-kept secrets is its Terrasse d’Été, Summer Terrace — with lovely views of the Seine River, the Louvre, and in the distance, even Sacre Coeur perched high on its hill in Montmartre.
