I went to Genoa for a week in early September. One adult, a 63-year-old who doesn't walk much (knee problems), and a teenager (11 years old). We opted to use City Sightseeing to get an initial, general idea of the city without getting too tired. The option to take two routes (red line and blue line) was great. The multilingual audio guide was excellent, providing historical and architectural overviews, and so on. At first, we had a bit of trouble getting on the bus because it was already full, but since they run every 30 minutes, we successfully waited for the next one. It was our first time using these buses; anyway, an excellent experience! Would definitely do it again! Thank you!

Top-notch service. The driver was friendly and knew everything. The tour itself is fantastic—I recommend it to everyone. Plus, since the ticket is valid all day, you can get off and back on along the two routes. I did run into a small issue because I couldn’t find the schedule at one of the stops and ended up waiting 15 minutes for nothing. Then I found out on the website that the buses stop running at 5:30 p.m., so I continued on foot. The audio guide teaches you a lot, and the classical music during the breaks is very enjoyable.

Very easy access right from the cruise 🚢 port. Hop on hop off it is a great way to see the highlights in a day. We did the red line and then we did the blue line in one afternoon. Great time - great service.

It was a great way to get around and see the city. However, there is no Wi-Fi on the Tour bus. Agent on bus couldn't help us perhaps not a strong connection but tried multiple times and multiple locations. As a result, we could not use the interactive map. It was disappointing to have recorded audio. Often it didn't seem like the audio synced up with the location on the tour. It would've been helpful if the agent or the driver made an announcement of upcoming stops and clarified if you were getting on a red or blue bus. I discovered where it was labeled blue but only after getting on and off the bus a few times. It would also be nice if the on board tour guide added in a few comments to make it more personable. I believe there were fewer buses running because it was a slower season. It was nice seeing the city and getting around quickly my comments above make it a three star versus more stars.
