The acoustic of the Church is fantastic and the performance of the musicians was faboluous. The music pieces were also very nicely selected and the length of the program was just right. Although I could sit there listening to them for a couple of more hours, for sure. The church is really nice, modest, warm and welcoming, and at a very convenient location in the heart of the city.

The performers were excellent and the choice of musical pieces was also great. Dimming the lights would have added to the atmosphere but we would still highly recommend.
    • Set in the historic Capuchin Church, this 1-hour classical concert offers a stunning rendition of Mozart’s A Little Night Music, a lively and elegant piece known for its bright, dance-like rhythms that perfectly capture the charm of the Classical era.

    • Enjoy the lyrical beauty of Haydn’s Poco adagio, the reflective tones of Schubert’s Ave Maria, and Bruckner’s majestic Locus Iste, all brought to life by a talented ensemble.

    • Listen closely to the poignant Lacrimosa from his Requiem (KV 626), beautifully arranged for string quartet, as the church’s exceptional acoustics elevate every note and timbre, creating a deeply moving experience.

    • Admire the exquisite Baroque interiors of the Capuchin Church, illuminated by soft, ambient lighting, and adorned with stunning frescoes, intricate woodwork, and grand altars.

    • Did you know the Emperor Quartet ensemble is named after Haydn’s Emperor Quartet? They are celebrated for their seamless blend of technique and emotion, infusing each performance with fresh, dynamic energy.

The selection of music was very appealing, the four musicians were brilliant, and you could tell they were enjoying themselves as they played.
