The Vienna Welcome card was a great way for us to avoid traffic, see more of the amazing sights Vienna has to offer. We bought 3 passes and probably used them for over 25 different trips across the trains, buses, trams and trolleys. We saw the SiSi museum, the ferris wheel and Schönnbrun Palace and gardens. We even got to walk around the city like the locals shopping in Flohmarkts and eating yummy doner kebabs. It was stress free travel, never having to worry about traffic, parking or tickets. Definitely pays for itself, and provided discounts along the way. Highly recommend for anyway spending a few days in this beautiful city.

Exploring the city with my eyes wide open—the ViennaCard makes it possible. I traveled through the city from east to west, from north to south. I enjoyed the view out the window just as much as the expressions on the faces of my fellow passengers. This allowed me to gather wonderful impressions on foot and by bus and train and enjoy them stress-free. I particularly liked the clear signage system of the Vienna subway, which helped me find my way around.

The ticket is unnecessary... it's only really suitable for people who want to take it easy... A 24-hour public transit pass is definitely cheaper... you don't have to wait in line anywhere, and the discount for individual attractions will never make up for the extra cost...
