Zoos in Loire Valley

The zoo is beautiful and well-designed for visitors with limited mobility, with clear directions on the map and in the app. We really appreciated this because we were accompanied by someone who has difficulty getting around, and it was essential to know where the slopes were too steep. The elevators—which were essential for making things easier for that person—were a huge help. The animals can be viewed from various vantage points. The bird show is incredible—both because of the number of keepers involved and the number of birds in the show. Magnificent!!!! The only downside: we had lunch at the “Le Canard Laqué” restaurant. The weather was cool and rainy, but the air conditioning inside was cranked up as if it were 38 degrees outside. That ruined our meal because the avoks eat in the cold, with the air conditioning blowing directly on them. The only downside, especially with someone who has a weakened immune system… and it was raining outside. Otherwise, the Beauval experience is a memorable one. We recommend that our friends and family come discover the zoo. Well done!
