Getting started

Head to the Lacàph Coffee Experiences Space at 220A Nguyễn Công Trứ in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, and check in for your scheduled session. After you are seated, your expert Coffee Guides introduce the format of the guided coffee workshop. You then set up your brewing station so you are ready to take part in the hands-on activities.

What to expect

Lacàph Coffee Experiences Space

This single-session Vietnamese coffee workshop focuses on participation rather than passive tasting. You move through a sequence of guided experiments, brewing, roasting, and storytelling that connect modern Lacàph coffee with Vietnam's coffee legacy.

Features

• A guided coffee workshop with Coffee Guides leads you through a multi-sensory coffee experiment, as they explain each step and help you explore the rich history and cultural tapestry of Vietnam through its coffee legacy.
• Brewing of two Lacàph Vietnamese coffee blends is included, and you use simple methods that you can later replicate at home while comparing flavors and aromas side by side.
• A small-batch Lacàph Phin Blend roasting demo lets you discover the crackling sound and aroma of coffee beans roasting, so you can follow the aromatic journey of modern Vietnamese coffee roasting from raw bean to finished roast.
• Lacàph Filter Blend coffee with mung bean cake is served at one stage of the session, pairing the Lacàph Filter Blend with "Bánh Đậu Xanh" (mung bean cake) for a Vietnamese sweet treat that complements the cup.
• Phin coffee brewed with Lacàph Microfilter Phin Brewer and Lacàph Phin Blend is provided later in the workshop, and this phin coffee is accompanied by cocoa-coated cashews to add a contrasting texture and taste to your tasting experience.
• A mini-documentary series on Vietnamese coffee culture is shown during the experience, immersing you in Vietnamese culture while highlighting how coffee has shaped the country's stories and everyday life.
