CoupleVerified bookingYesterday4/5The day visit was very nice, however was disappointed that the fountains were not on which would have made the experience more enjoyable. Another issue that could be improved is to provide seating for those who are seniors or who have physical disabilities, whilst queing to get into the palace. The audio availability could be made more prominent to visitors on entry. The ticket booth for the train was not in the same place as boarding the train, so clearer direction could be given. The grounds, the lake, Marie Antoinette house, Hall of mirrors and the palace itself were well worth visiting along with written information provided. Personally, on the day of our visit there was far too many people to enjoy it fully. Overall a good experience.FFaja A
CoupleVerified bookingYesterday4/5For example, you could write: We were very disappointed with this experience. We arrived only 5 minutes late, and despite our calls, no solution was offered to us. We were unable to take the tour of the Palace of Versailles even though we had paid a high price for a guided tour. What is most regrettable is not the delay itself, but the complete lack of assistance: no guidance, no offer to reschedule, no alternatives, and, to date, no gesture of goodwill.AAxel G
FamilyVerified bookingJun 20264/5The tour itself was really nice. The group entrance, of course, was excellent. The only downside: some of the headsets didn’t work—my wife’s only worked about 20 percent of the time. There were no replacements available... Also, it wasn’t always easy to keep up with the otherwise very nice guide because he didn’t wait for us at times...CCarolyn B
CoupleVerified bookingJun 20264/5Communication was not clear, probably on my part. We thought we were meeting a guide, but it was fine. Once we figured out that the passport tickets were in an email and we sent that email to my daughter who had internet, we were able to show the tickets at the gate within the time frame for getting in. We had to pay an extra few Euros to go the gardens.FFiona W
CoupleVerified booking4 days ago5/5Easy to find meeting point. Good communication before the tour. We had an exclusive tour of parts of the Palace not included on a general admission ticket. Bo our guide was excellent, calm, clear, unhurried, helpful and extremely knowledgeable about Versailles. She made the tour interesting and enjoyable and we were so happy we booked this tour.
