About Truman Little White House

Florida's only presidential museum preserves a working winter White House rather than a formal capital mansion. The house can only be visited on a guided interior tour, so the experience is built around storytelling instead of free-roaming galleries. Visitors see preserved rooms, Truman-era furnishings, and spaces linked to later presidential guests, all within the quieter Truman Annex neighborhood.

Main Visitor Entrance (111 Front St)

Located inside Truman Annex at the clearly signed visitor center on 111 Front St, this is the only standard public entrance for the attraction. All visitors use it for ticket purchase or check-in, and guided tours depart from here. Expect a ticket or validation line plus a possible short wait for the next available tour. The outdoor approach is generally level, but the historic interior may include steps, and fully step-free routing is not clearly documented. If you arrive through Truman Annex from Front St or Southard St, follow signs to the visitor center rather than going directly to the house.

Truman Annex Pedestrian Gates

Visitors approaching on foot, by trolley, or by rideshare may enter Truman Annex through pedestrian gates off Whitehead, Southard, or Front Streets. These are access points into the neighborhood, not ticketed entrances to the Truman Little White House itself. From any of these gates, follow signs to the visitor center at 111 Front St for check-in and tour departure. There is no attraction queue at the gates. Sidewalks are generally level, though some gates may have small thresholds, and detailed official accessibility guidance for each gate is not published.
