Had a great day in Lisbon first visiting the Sao Jorge Castle and then making our way by tram to the Monastary. Easy with the pre-purchased tickets not to have to queue to buy tickets!

Unless there was a time slot, it was necessary to wait 25 minutes in a queue.
But it's absolutely worth visiting. Everyone who is in Belem should visit it! It's a must for understanding Portugal's history.

Nous avons observé l'affluence pour les visites et le créneau choisi, (11h30-12h00) a permis de passer sans attente.
Malgré les travaux à l'extérieur, l'intérieur du monastère et de l'église sont toujours impressionnants. Venus pour la seconde fois, nous sommes toujours attirés par ce monument de Lisbonne et sa quiétude. L'ibtention des billets préalablement sur le site est un réel plus.

The check-in is organized by time. That made it smooth. The audio tour broken down by area made it easy to jump around. The monastery is breathtaking.

O mais especial foi que com o ingresso online não tive que esperar na fila,nem para comprar ingressos nem para entrar,não tenho paciência de ficar em filas.

Loved the castle sad that there was not more information about it would have loved to buy a book about the history of Catele de Sao Jorge. I enjoyed the peacocks and all the olive trees.

We really enjoyed the castle but unfortunately it was cut short as we accidentally walked out the exit gate and quickly realised we walked out as we walked back in a man who worked there told us we couldn't go back in I offered to show me tickets incase he thought we where trying to sneak in but he seen us walk out and quickly turn back around and he would not let us back in we were very disappointed as we still wanted to look around and sit down and eat some food and have a drink

We loved our visit to Sao George Castle! We arrived early before the crowds and loved exploring the grounds and enjoying the beautiful views.
