Let me just start this by saying that Plitvice park/ Lakes is absolutely breathtaking. A beauty worth to visit, leave, breat it and fully enjoy! That said, there are a few things worth mentioning: Well maintain all areas for the hike around the lakes, everything from bathrooms to restaurants, tram and boats are kept in mint condition. Our tour guide Samantha, answered all our questions and gave us suggestions as we ask for things to do around the area. As per our request, she suggest a place to have lunch after our morning tour, and it was amazing local food. Samantha kept a good pace, didn't rush us, informed us ahead of time if a break was possible or when we have time to stop and take pictures . Our group had all ages and everyone's was accomadated. The pictures are not as closed as the beauty of this natural beauty. Many people come for a day, we bought two day tickets, so we could enjoy the surroundings town and river Korna. If you can, I recommended this your vacation time is more joyful and less hectic. Thank you Samantha ;) Angela and Scott Horodyski

I had high expectations before my trip, but Plitvice National Park exceeded them in every way. It is truly one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. The crystal-clear turquoise lakes, stunning waterfalls, and lush vegetation create an almost unreal landscape. The park is very well maintained, with well-marked trails and wooden boardwalks that make it easy to explore. There are hiking routes suitable for both short and long walks, and there are a lot of breathtaking views that are perfect for photography. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there are park employees throughout the trails who assist visitors while helping to keep the park clean and protected. Clear signs make it easy to navigate and choose routes based on their length and level of difficulty. I recommend arriving early in the morning to enjoy the fresh air, peaceful atmosphere, and spectacular scenery before the park becomes crowded. I highly recommend Plitvice National Park to anyone who loves nature, hiking, and unforgettable experiences. It is a destination I would gladly visit again.

I had high expectations before visiting Plitvice Lakes, but somehow they still managed to surprise me. The colors of the water are absolutely unreal, the waterfalls are everywhere you look, and the whole park feels peaceful and incredibly well looked after. What I loved most was that every part of the walk offered something different. Just when I thought I’d seen the best view, another corner revealed an even more beautiful one. I found myself stopping all the time just to take it all in. The staff were friendly, everything was well organized, and despite the park being popular, it never felt overwhelming. Spending a day surrounded by such incredible nature was honestly one of the highlights of my trip to Croatia. I’ve visited many beautiful places over the years, but Plitvice Lakes is one of those rare destinations that truly lives up to the hype. If you’re visiting Croatia, don’t even think twice—this place is absolutely worth it. I already know I’ll be coming back someday.

Voici une proposition d’avis chaleureux et naturel : Un immense merci à Dalibor pour cette magnifique visite du parc naturel de Plitvice. Tout au long de la journée, il a fait preuve d’un grand professionnalisme, de beaucoup de gentillesse et d’une parfaite connaissance du parc. Nous étions accompagnés d’une personne à mobilité réduite et Dalibor a su faire preuve d’une patience, d’une bienveillance et d’une attention remarquables, en adaptant le rythme de la visite sans jamais nous faire sentir pressés. Grâce à lui, nous avons pleinement profité de la beauté exceptionnelle de ce lieu dans les meilleures conditions. Nous recommandons Dalibor sans la moindre hésitation à tous ceux qui souhaitent découvrir Plitvice avec un guide passionné et humain. Encore merci pour cette belle expérience ! Si cet avis est destiné à Google ou Tripadvisor, je peux aussi le rendre un peu plus spontané et percutant, tout en restant sincère.

Nous avons acheté une visite guidée via getyourguide, ce qui nous a permis de visiter et profiter tranquillement de la beauté des lieux . Les chutes ne sont pas importantes à cette saison, mi juillet, mais les excavation sont impressionnantes , et vertigineuse. La couleur de l'eau et sa transparence nous ont impressionnés. L'aménagement des passerelles est confortable à la marche, des points de vue photos très bien aménagés . Il faut noter quand même le dénivelé important entre les lacs supérieurs et les lacs inférieurs qui demandent une bonne condition physique. L'aménagement des parkings est très bien indiqués , et ceux-ci sont à l'ombre fort heureusement. Nous avons apprécié aussi le transfert en bateau dès notre arrivée ainsi que le train/ bus qui permet des transitions . Le site mérite toute sa préservation tant il est fragile.

I had a great time at Plitvice Lakes, even though it started with some difficulties. I accidentaly bought the wrong ticket and I was surprised that Headout responded so quickly to my phone call at almost midnight. They couldnt refund, but they gave me a discount and guidance to buy the right entry tickets. I was pleased that next day the Tour guide called me in the morning because I did not arrive at the scheduled hour, and she said to come relaxed because she will take care so that I can go with another group. When we arrived, the Tour from that group was giving us a very nice attention, making us photographs in many places with our phones. The view is astonishing there and we loved it. Definitely want to come back soon.

We absolutely loved our visit to Plitvice Lakes! We arrived right at opening time (7:00 AM) at Entrance 2 and chose Route H, which turned out to be the perfect decision. The scenery was breathtaking from start to finish – truly one of the most beautiful places we've ever visited.The only downside was the waiting time for transportation within the park. Although we were the first people at Station 2, we had to wait more than 30 minutes for the first shuttle/train to Station 3. The same thing happened with the boat and the final shuttle: around 30 minutes of waiting each time. It wasn't because of large crowds, but simply because there didn't seem to be enough shuttles running.I would definitely recommend starting from Entrance 2 rather than Entrance 1. When we reached the Lower Lakes, we saw huge numbers of people coming from the opposite direction, and the queues there must have been quite overwhelming.Apart from that, it was an amazing experience and a place I would highly recommend visiting!

Le parc national de Plitvice est magnifique du début à la fin. Les paysages sont vraiment splendides. Les photos parlent d’elles-mêmes, on se croirait dans un décor de film fantastique. En revanche, je vous conseille de vous renseigner sur les différents parcours possibles de réaliser avant votre arrivée, car plusieurs entrées existent. Par ailleurs, il y a énormément de monde, ce qui donne parfois l’impression d’être sur une « autoroute ». Il faut donc prévoir un peu, voire beaucoup, d’attente pour prendre le train ou le bateau, ainsi que quelques bousculades. Il faut également noter que l’accès n’est pas du tout adapté aux personnes en fauteuil roulant et aux poussettes. En effet, la visite se fait presque entièrement sur des passerelles en bois comportant des trous et des marches. Cette expérience reste tout de même inoubliable, tant elle révèle la fragilité des écosystèmes dont nous dépendons.
