Views alternate as the boat turns through the harbour, so you’ll get good angles from both sides. Many travellers like the starboard side when entering Grand Harbour and port side when exiting, but you can usually move around the open deck to frame different shots.

Most cruises leave from Sliema’s main ferry/cruise quay along the promenade. It’s reachable on foot from many Sliema hotels, by local bus from Valletta, or by taxi/ride‑hail. Allow extra time in summer traffic and arrive 15–20 minutes early to check in and choose seats.
