The water puppet performance lasts about an hour, with a bunch of different puppets and a live band of six people. The stories are lively and the music keeps the whole thing upbeat and funny. Lots of excitement and laughs throughout. I really had a good time at this one.

Honestly, this was a blast! Went with a group of friends and we all loved the live music and the hilarious little puppets. Couldn’t stop laughing and found myself clapping along. I’ve never watched anything quite like it before—definitely something different. Heads up, sitting right up front isn’t the best spot!

I’d heard lots of buzz about this puppet show but the music and singers were way too loud for me, and since the whole thing’s in Vietnamese—and there’s no guide to the stories—I couldn’t follow along. The theatre is old-school, with a big pool as the stage. We got tickets the same day (midweek), though when I asked for front row, the woman at the counter just said no, and same thing when I tried to book for another day. When the show started, people in front held up their phones filming, so our view was blocked, and weirdly, the left row was mostly empty. My partner thought it was just okay—I’d probably call it a 5 out of 10.
