An absolutely wonderful experience! The Butterfly Gardens were beautifully maintained, with thousands of colorful butterflies flying freely around us. It was peaceful, educational and perfect for families. The National Aquarium Abu Dhabi was equally impressive, featuring a wide variety of marine life and well-designed exhibits. The entire visit was smooth, well-organized, and worth every dirham. The combo ticket offered excellent value for money and both attractions exceeded our expectations. Visited recently and had a really pleasant experience. The place is beautifully maintained, with a wide variety of colorful butterflies flying freely around. It feels calm and refreshing as you walk through the different sections. The environment is clean, well-organized, and suitable for families as well as anyone who enjoys nature. Staff were helpful and ensured everything was well managed. It’s also a nice spot for photos if you enjoy capturing unique moments. Overall, a great place to spend some relaxing time and learn a bit about butterflies and their life cycle. Would definitely recommend visiting at least once if you're in Abu Dhabi.

The Butterfly Garden was a wonderful experience. The garden is beautifully maintained, clean, and filled with stunning butterflies and other animals like sloths, making it a lovely place to visit. Everything was well organized, and the atmosphere was peaceful and enjoyable. One thing I especially appreciated was the ticket flexibility. Although you select a date when purchasing, the tickets can be used on another day as well, which makes planning much easier. Overall, it was a beautiful experience and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Abu Dhabi.

Louvre Abu Dhabi What to bring

Bring a valid photo ID to match the name on your booking if requested at the entrance.

The galleries are set at a relatively cool temperature to protect the installations. You might want to consider carrying a stole/scarf, especially for kids.

It is recommended to carry swimming clothes and a towel for the kayak tour.

Dress comfortably for climate-controlled indoor environments.

What’s not allowed

Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not allowed inside the museum or Butterfly Garden for security reasons. You can deposit your belongings in the cloakroom provided at the museum.

Pets are not permitted, except for registered service animals.

Outside food and beverages are not allowed inside the premises.

Food and water are strictly prohibited inside the galleries.

Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is strictly prohibited within the domes and all indoor areas.

Flash photography is not allowed in some areas with sensitive exhibits; tripods are not permitted inside the domes.

Do not touch or disturb the butterflies, animals, or exhibits.

Children under 6 years old are restricted from taking part in the kayaking tour.

This experience is accessible by wheelchair and strollers. Wheelchairs and strollers are available upon request.

The Butterfly Garden is wheelchair accessible, with ramps and accessible pathways throughout the domes.

Accessible restrooms are available on site. Staff are available to assist visitors with mobility needs.

The kayak tour is not suitable for children under 6, people with mobility impairments, and pregnant women.
