We booked the cruise for July 9th in the morning. The crew was just amazing and so so so funny. The captain shocked everyone speaking so many languages and the other crew members were really kind and funny. The lady who was managing the queue was really nice, kind and funny. They made sure everyone were okay and safe. They had no problems explaining everything we wanted to know and when we left tips they made us ring a bell and it was really funny. This crew was perfect and there's nothing i would change or regret.

I gave it 4 stars because, overall, the experience was great—the catamaran was very clean and well-maintained, and seeing the whales and dolphins was spectacular. My only complaint is that there was a very unpleasant moment for my son and me: one of the crew members was rude. When he asked us where we were from and my son told him he was from Bilbao,he started insisting that he wasn’t, because we, his parents, are of Latin American descent, and he began bringing up political issues in the conversation. To be honest, we felt attacked by a crew member whose only job was to provide the service we’d paid for. I made the reservation for June 27, Otherwise, the rest of the staff was great and very friendly.

The experience wasn't bad, although of the four sightings we've had in different places, this was the worst. The sea was a little rough, but we were able to see some pilot whales. What I didn't like was that they kept referring to the pilot whales as whales when they are actually a type of dolphin...which means that everyone in their reviews says they saw whales when in fact that's not true.

Once at the harbor, the crew will check your booking and invite you on board your chosen vessel, either a catamaran with wide decks or a smaller sailboat. After a short safety briefing and orientation, find a comfortable place to sit, stow your belongings, and get ready to leave the marina for open water.

What to expect

As you cruise out along Tenerife’s southwest coastline, you’ll head towards the Teno-Rasca protected marine strip, a stretch of ocean known for its resident pods of pilot whales and bottlenose dolphins. The crew will point out movement on the surface, explain what species you’re likely to see in season, and share simple facts about their behavior and habitat.

Accessibility

What’s not allowed

Large suitcases, bulky luggage, and oversized bags cannot be taken on the cruise due to limited storage space on board.

Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15–20 minutes before your scheduled departure time to allow for check-in and boarding. Late arrivals may not be able to join the cruise.
