We had an absolutely amazing experience at teamLab Planets Tokyo! I visited with my two children, aged 8 and 10, and it was definitely one of the highlights of our Japan holiday. From the moment we entered, we were blown away by the incredible interactive displays, beautiful lights and immersive rooms. Every new area was a surprise, and the kids loved being able to explore and become part of the artwork rather than just look at it. It was such a unique, magical experience that we all enjoyed equally. Booking through Headout was quick and easy, and everything went smoothly with our tickets. I would highly recommend teamLab Planets to families visiting Tokyo. It’s an unforgettable experience and something we’ll be talking about long after our holiday ends!

The water immersion was more than I expected and it was totally surprised . There is so many numerous things that stood out and made it special for me. I don't even know where to start. For example, the crystals and standing on the mirror floor was just mesmerizing., walking through the water and listening to the sounds of it was very calming. Another feature was the orchids. I could stand in there all day and just watch them slowly going up and down . The children's artwork was presented on the wall in an animation. Overall, very, very family friendly and highly recommend anybody who visits Tokyo to go and see for themselves. .

A big plus was the instant ticket purchase and processing. Our tickets were for 8:30 PM, we arrived at 8:00 PM, and in just half an hour, we got through the line and inside. You definitely need to wear pants that you can roll up to your knees or shorts for the water room. There are also lots of physical activities, so comfortable athletic shoes are a must, or you can rent them on-site. In our opinion, a couple of the activities are mainly for kids, but most of the exhibits are great for everyone. What we liked most was the room with the light lines and the water room with the fish projections.

What an experience! Friends had told me how incredible Team Lab was but I didn't really understand how great until I experienced it myself. It was absolutely incredible. Each theme was exceptional with the highlight for me being the forest room. A big standout was the amazing staff and the way the crowds were controlled so that no exhibit became too crowded, even when while waiting in line, I thought it would be overly crowded. I will recommend Team Lab to everyone I know that plans to visit Tokyo. Unbelievable experience, thank you.

Easy communication and process th purchase tickets. TeamLabs Planets was an amazing experience for my 2 children and me. We booked the 6:30pm slot. The line was long but moved quickly. I highly recommend starting on the water side if you have been out all day. It was so soothing and like a foot massage. Then we moved to athletic portion for all the activities which the kids loved and ended in the gardens. The hanging garden is a beautiful way to end. It's so amazing. I highly recommend this experience for everyone. Totally worth it.

Arrived earlier to have lunch o. Restaurant as advertised. We were told No entry by staff. Only seating available outside were two bench seats for total of 8 persons. Everyone else required to stand outside, in our case it was raining, or in sun perhaps for others. Designers made no provision for elderly or those with children. The activities were immersive and excellent. Highly recommend for families and young teens. Staff inside venue friendly and smiling.

What a wonderful experience! I loved visiting teamLab and enjoying the sumo wrestling experience with my line sisters. Sharing these moments with them made it even more special! Although I didn’t get a chance to wrestle with the sumo wrestlers, we got some great pictures, and I even won a T-shirt! From beginning to end, it was such a fun and memorable time. A beautiful addition to our trip to Japan—I highly recommend it!

Premium Pass allowed for very smooth entry and less stress on choosing right time slot for first day of holiday in Japan. All activities were great - especially loved the water area and catching forest animals on app - can't wait to return with my kids! Great day out for all ages. Highly recommend.

Arrive at teamLab Planets TOKYO near the main entrance, where staff will guide you through ticket validation and a brief security check. Lockers are available for small items, and guests are encouraged to wear pants due to mirrored surfaces in some areas.

What to expect

This contemporary museum spans over 10,000 square meters, offering a multi-sensory journey through large-scale digital artworks. Each space is designed to engage all five senses, making you an active participant in the art.

What to bring

Wear pants to avoid reflections on mirrored floors. Skirts and wide-legged clothing are not recommended.

Clothes may get wet. Bring a change of clothes or wear quick-dry clothing, especially for children.

What’s not allowed

Large bags, food and beverages, and sharp objects are not permitted inside the exhibition.

Eating, drinking, and smoking are strictly prohibited within the venue.

Pets, including guide dogs, are not allowed.

Re-entry is not allowed after you leave the venue.

Accessibility

Strollers must be left in the designated area before entering. Baby carriers are permitted inside the exhibition.

Guests with wheelchairs will be requested to transfer to the venue's available wheelchairs once inside. The number of available wheelchairs is limited. These wheelchairs are standard models without fastening devices.

This experience is not recommended for visitors with light sensitivity, back issues, or cardiac conditions. Some areas of the venue are not accessible to pregnant women.

Some areas require you to go barefoot. Please remove your shoes before entering.

Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Staff may ask guests to leave if they stay too long during busy periods.
