The tour was really well organised. The meeting point and meeting times were clearly communicated, and we were given some excellent information sheets which helped to get us invested in all aspects of the sumo. Our guide showed us around the venue, before taking us to our seats, which were very well positioned with western style back support (S class). Having the fight schedule in front of us, the explanations of the sumo rankings, and explanations of the rituals, made for a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was brilliant, as was the food, and the commentary by our very knowledgeable and attentive guide. She also provided a lot of insightful background information for each of the wrestlers. Would highly recommend. Ps. Be sure to hold your radio upright to find clear signal for the commentary.

Smaller cozy venue so action was viewable from every seat. Check-in process was excellent. Crew saw us sitting outside in the heat looking lost so they invited us inside to check-in ans receive our info and tickets. Was nice having a guide as this could have been very overwhelming for first timers Our guide gave us a good amount of info without feeling he was talking too much. He did a great job.

Our guide Yummi was wonderful. Her enthusiasm and good humor made the event far better than it would have been without her. She taught us so much about sumo and the history of the competition and her excitement for the sumos she loved most was a pleasure to share. I would absolutely recommend this tour and Yummi to other people visiting Nagoya.
