The Jazz Cruise was such a delightful way to spend a hot afternoon in a NOLA summer! Getting onto the boat was quick and easy, and the food was delicious. The band, Steamboat Stompers, played a wide variety of music and kept going through a majority of the cruise. The captain's tour was informational, humorous, and not overbearing as to detract from the actual ride. There was a lot of space to stand and sit for views, and staff was helpful and kind. There's a cute little gift shop, and for young kids (or adults who want it), they have ice cream from the bar for an extra charge.
    • Enjoy a sumptuous Creole lunch aboard a two-hour cruise along the Mississippi River with live narration and jazz music.

    • Your cruise will set off from the historic Toulouse Street Wharf in the French Quarter, giving you sweeping views of the New Orleans cityscape, including St. Louis Cathedral, the bustling Port of New Orleans, and the Crescent City Connection bridge.

    • A freshly prepared Creole lunch will be served on board during two convenient seating times. The menu features regional dishes like jambalaya, red beans and rice with smoked sausage.

    • The lively sounds of Duke Heitger’s Steamboat Stompers Jazz Trio will set the tone for your daytime cruise with an authentic New Orleans jazz performance.

    • Opt for a freshly prepared lunch on either the 11am or 2pm cruise, offering you the flexibility to dine when it suits you best.

Something to consider while visiting New Orleans. Dinner/lunch is buffet style served by a waitress so various coughing and people hands are not over the food!

Boarding process was smooth. I loved the idea 9f taking a photo before you board and having the opportunity to purchase it as a keepsake. The dining experience was ok. Food was tasty, just wish it wasn't so early. I enjoyed the narration and the smooth ride. I will definitely recommend!

Disappointed that the Natchez was not available to us on the day so we were on the New Orleans. I guess the experience was just as good. Food was good. Captains commentary was good. We enjoyed the jazz band. Lovely day.
