Venice and the vaporetto—it was love at first trip!
We rode along the Grand Canal, admired the palaces from the water, and the trip to the Lido was a special delight. Just 15-20 minutes from San Marco, and you're on a beautiful beach on the Adriatic. Returning in the evening at sunset is simply magical!
Convenient, romantic, and very atmospheric. The 24-hour pass was a real lifesaver and saved me money. Despite the crowds during peak season, this is the best way to truly see Venice.

Skip the line is a must for the basilica, especially in the hot sun. It was a quick and effortless entry, and our guide was lovely and informative. She took us around in about 30 minutes, explaining the history which I didn't know much about so it was very interesting. The only thing was that we paid for an audioguide, and then didn't use it because our guide was so good, which was slightly frustrating when we downloaded an app and everything unnecessarily.
