  • If weary after sightseeing, Arashiyu offers the perfect pitstop to regenerate all the senses. A foot massage that follows the Japanese practice of Zoku Shin Do,is just what passing travelers need to relax and rejuvenate. In addition to the massage, the experience is much like an onsen, but for your feet. The parlor offers three different kinds of footbaths: Soak your feet in a warm green tea bath and allow yourself to embody the spirit of zen as you take a whiff of the refreshing scent. Or choose the Miya footbath, a seasonal flower footbath which evokes the four seasons of Japan. Or you could even dip your feet in a bucket of crystal salt; Sakaki, and undergo a cleanse of sorts. This footbath is ideal if you’re on pilgrimage to the Kyoto Holy Land.

Arashiyu has a soothing ambiance that equally puts you at rest. The use of bamboo during the foot massage releases all tension and brings forth the glow of new life. Safe to say, you will come out feeling fresh and ready to take on the world
