The castle is beautiful and the view over Osaka from the top floor was one of the best moments of our Japan trip. Take some time afterwards to walk around the grounds and the moat, it's really nice. The exhibition was well presented, with interesting installations and informative descriptions that helped me understand the history behind the exhibits. The views from the top were absolutely stunning, and the entire place was clean and well maintained. The only thing I would change is the flow of visitors inside the castle. The crowds made it difficult to take my time and really soak up the historical atmosphere. A more organized visitor flow would make the experience much more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend visiting Osaka CastleMMina R
SóloOverená rezervácia10/20264/5Definitely get tickets online for the Osaka Castle. The line to buy tickets was long. It was great to be able to bypass the line and get in a line for the elevator to the 5th floor. Though you can always walk up to the 8th floor. That being said- I was disappointed with the Osaka Castle. I felt herded through. It was crowded so it was hard to view the exhibits. I would recommend the Nishinomaru Garden next door. It costs 300 yen. It's calm and gives opportunities to see the castle and sit and enjoy the surroundings.JJuan M

This was especially good as it was getting near the end of the day to time was precious. The castle has really cool views and the museum was an excellent way to start our Osaka trip. The extra booking fee was worth it to save us time. The cake grounds are also really lovely.
