Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not allowed; only a small bag is permitted for drop-off at Central Plaza in Chiang Rai.

Entry to temples is not permitted without appropriate attire (covered shoulders, long pants, and covered shoes).

Chiang Rai is a considerable drive from Chiang Mai; the tour duration is approximately 12 hours.
