We thoroughly enjoyed the all inclusive pass and visiting the cathedral. Expect people to cut in line and be pushy in the cathedral, so spending the extra money allows you access to less crowded parts of the cathedral complex. Upon arrival in the Cathedral, get in line for the Library, so you can enjoy the architecture while you are in line.
    • Explore Siena over three days with the OPA SI PASS, granting full access to the Cathedral, Baptistery, Crypt, Piccolomini Library, Museo dell'Opera, and Facciatone viewpoint and the Oratory of San Bernardino (April–October).

    • Marvel at the Duomo’s intricate mosaic marble floor and explore Pinturicchio’s vibrant frescoes in the Piccolomini Library.

    • Discover centuries-old frescoes in the Crypt and admire the Renaissance Baptismal Font in the Baptistery, featuring works by Donatello and Ghiberti.

    • Climb to the panoramic Facciatone terrace for sweeping views over Siena and the rolling Tuscan countryside.

    • Dive into Siena’s rich history with a digital audio guide, exploring each site at your own pace with detailed insights.

The audio guide wouldn't download because it said THE TICKET CODE WAS INVALID. The staff on site gave me a password that allowed me to download the audio guide, but it kept disconnecting frequently (the staff themselves mentioned an “UNSTABLE NETWORK” every time I entered), so I had to keep re-entering the password they gave me In the Baptistery and the Crypt, there was no connection, so it wasn’t possible to listen to anything. The same thing happened to the person with my second ticket. A very frustrating experience. In the end, for the floor in the Cathedral, I found all the descriptions on Wikipedia—much more complete—and at least that way I was able to learn about what I was seeing.
