The daily or multi-day tickets are definitely worth it. You avoid the hassle of buying tickets; just waiting in line to board the vaporetto is enough. You don't have to worry about fares or tickets. Would gladly do it again.

The vaperettos are on occasions very full. We bought a 2 day (48 hour) pass, which worked on the first day but not on the return journey on the second. Once you download the pnr code from the website you then have to collect the tickets from a machine. To understand how to print the tickets I watched a video on YouTube. Very easy

The process for activating the 7-day ticket needs to be explained more clearly online in advance. At the ticket machine, it took a while to find the relevant information and follow the instructions. Otherwise, it’s very convenient and highly recommended.

Ticket machines in Punta Sabbioni are in full sun, making the display unreadable. Help at the ticket counter - non-existent. Only with the help of a local were we, and many others, able to solve the problem. It took over 20 minutes and because of that we missed our scheduled boat, which changed our itinerary for the day. Generally, the boats are overcrowded even in September (winter schedule).
