SoloVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5The Picasso Museum in Málaga is definitely worth a visit. It is located in the beautiful historic Palacio de Buenavista, and the collection allows visitors to explore different stages of Picasso’s artistic career, from his early works to his later pieces. The museum has a wonderful atmosphere, is well organised, and is located right in the heart of the old town. A great place for both art lovers and anyone who wants to learn more about Picasso and his connection to Málaga. I truly recommend visiting this museum — it’s a wonderful experience and a must-see in Málaga!MMary Z
CoupleVerified booking5 days ago5/5The Picasso Museum and Picasso's Birthplace Museum are magnificent. The museum has such a lovely connection of works, arranged in such a lovely way, and including so much more variety than I realized existed in Picasso's works. In the Birthplace Museum, we felt like we actually "got to know" Picasso. The birthplace museum contained some of his earlier works, as well as lots of artifacts and nformation about his family and early years. In both places, staff noticed that we could use help maneuvering from floor to floor, so arranged for someone to escort us to the elevator and meet us at the next floor. In the Birthplace Museum, one of the docents let me use her chair, and instructed her replacement employee to take care of me in the same way! I felt pampered as I enjoyed these marvelous sites!BBozhko V
FamilyVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5Visiting the Pablo Picasso Museum left me with the warmest and most vivid impressions! It’s not just an encounter with great art, but an incredibly inspiring journey for the whole family. The exhibition is curated so harmoniously that it captivates you from the very first moments. I was especially pleased by how comfortable and engaging the experience was for my child: the space is perfectly suited for a child’s first encounter with Cubism and Expressionism. It’s a real delight to see a child examining the shapes and colors with curiosity and trying to figure out the artist’s vision. The museum staff is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is bright, imbued with creativity and artistic freedom. We left feeling deeply inspired and filled with a flood of emotions. We’ll definitely be back! I highly recommend a visit to anyone traveling with children. Thank you for the warm welcome!MMarc P
CoupleVerified booking2 weeks ago4/5The sections of the exhibition dedicated to the painter’s career are my favorites, and the explanations—though they contain several spelling errors—are sufficient and clear. On the other hand, I think a little more clarity regarding the exact layout of the museum wouldn’t hurt. Just a few areas for improvement.OOlha K
SoloVerified booking2 weeks ago5/5An interesting museum for fans of Picasso and contemporary art. I visited for the sake of general cultural enrichment. He’s not “my” kind of artist. I liked the contemporary installations better, especially a certain “illuminated forest”—it was really beautiful. I felt like I was in a fairy tale.
A well-rounded cultural day in Málaga, combining Picasso’s artistic legacy with a visually engaging exploration of fashion and classic cars.
