Although one can easily walk to this museum I chose to take a water taxi to the museum as I am somewhat physically challenged. The whole day's experience was splendid.. shout out to the water taxi's of Venice. It's a breeze to get anywhere and the drivers are so friendly and helpful. The museum itself is small, and can be easily toured in an afternoon. it is worth every bit of hype you read about it in the tourist guides. I feel so lucky to have seen the diverse collection of Peggy Guggenheim. Anyone interested in the early years of contemporary art will be in heaven to take in many of the era's renown artist's paintings and sculptures. And wow, how wonderful it was to learn about the Peggy Guggenheim's story. Oh, and by the way, the garden style bistro cafe in the museum was excellent. If I lived in the neighborhood ( I wish) I would eat there all the time! When in Venice, make sure to pencil in some timre for this relaxing museum visit!

A lovely day spent perusing the collections both inside and outside the museum. It was our first visit and we kept ourselves busy walking, observing the wide variety of art and reading up on the various artists. Particularly poignant was the room that housed Pegeen's art. We also found her resting place along with tributes to her many pets. An enchanting experience overall.

Beautiful collection, well presented. We did a self guided visit and found that a wealth of information was provided in multiple languages for each exhibit. It was so amazing to see works by Mondrian and Jackson Pollock. We also were introduced to the work of Peggy Guggenheim's daughter Pegeen. Amazing experience all around.

I know this collection well, but I had never paid attention to the gardens. So I spent most of my visit in the gardens looking for the sculptures. There's one piece of information missing for the public: an indication of new acquisitions or works that have been rotated.

Hassle-free entry. Attentive and kind staff. The location is fascinating, from the garden to the interior. Beautiful views of the canal. Acceptable number of people—crowded, but not getting in the way.

The Commentary available on the rented audiodevices was excellent. It proved to be a fine learning experience with insights into the mind of the artists.
