Interesting place, history and a lot of info from the guide. Different presentation from our experience from Austria. What we would appreciate- the application to download providing more languages. Unfortunately, not everyone speaks fluent English and time to time it was a bit difficult to understand when longer distance from the guide.

The logistics were perfectly organized, given all the visitors on such a hot day (36 degrees). The tour is fascinating, and the salt mine itself is a marvelous feat of human engineering. Highly recommended! If you’re traveling with young children, I’d suggest booking a special family tour, as the regular tour is much too strenuous for children under 12.

Communication with Headout is terrible, they're very disorganized, and the contact numbers they give you don't answer the phone. I won't book anything with them again—I've had the same problems on both tours. Civitatis is much, much better. They change the tour times on the same day.

My Wife has mobility issues. I didn't realize there are tours available to accommodate her issues. I was happy that the facility was able to move me to one of those tours later in the day. It was still very difficult because only 3 wheelchairs available to use.

The card is valid only on city buses and trams (day and night).

The last admission to exhibitions is typically 90 minutes before closing time.

Some museums are closed on Mondays.

The card's validity depends on the number of days chosen at redemption.

Choose the day of redemption when exchanging the voucher for the card.

Guided Tour of Wieliczka Salt Mine

The tour is available in English, French, German, and Spanish.

It’s recommended to wear comfortable shoes.

Dress in layers as the underground temperature is around 17-18°C.

The guided tour is not wheelchair accessible, but some parts of the Tourist Route are adapted for people with limited mobility.

No telecommunication signals in the mine, but designated areas provide free WiFi and phone access.

In exceptional cases, some chambers of the Tourist Route may be excluded from the guided tour.

Service animals/guide dogs are permitted.

Photography is allowed.
