We had a fantastic experience on the Niagara Falls Canada Guided Tour with Hornblower Cruise & Journey Behind the Falls. Our guide, Parminder, was friendly, knowledgeable, and very well organized. She shared many interesting facts about the history and geology of Niagara Falls and made the whole tour easy and enjoyable. The Hornblower Cruise and Journey Behind the Falls were both unforgettable experiences. It was amazing to see, hear, and feel the power of the falls up close. We never felt rushed, and Parminder took great care of the group throughout the tour. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Parminder as your guide!

I’d been wanting to see the falls for a while, but I kept hearing discouraging comments saying they were just ordinary waterfalls; however, the package I chose was great and comprehensive, since it involved more than just seeing a waterfall— hearing the stories of people who dared to jump into the falls and being able to see the waterfall from the tunnels really lets you grasp its magnitude and appreciate the beauty of nature. I’d definitely visit them again and take the tour once more!!

We’d been wanting to visit Niagara Falls for several years; this summer, we finally did it, and it was absolutely worth it. The tour with Alex from Headout was very enjoyable, interesting, and informative. Our favorite part was the boat cruise through the falls. What a sensation it is to get splashed by the water from this world-class, truly Canadian natural wonder! We wanted to make the most of it, so we took off our hats to make sure we fully enjoyed that cool water that had come from so far away. We had an amazing time touring Niagara Falls with our guide, Johnny D, who did an incredible job taking us through the Skylon Tower, Journey Behind the Falls, and the boat cruise where of course, we ended up getting completely soaked by the Falls What really made the experience special was Johnny’s knowledge of the history of Niagara Falls. I was there with my wife’s family, who are visiting from Mexico, and they were really curious about the history and significance of the Falls. For some of them, this was a dream come true, and Johnny did a fantastic job making the experience memorable for everyone. He was also extremely patient and understanding with our group, especially since we had some older family members with us and things naturally took a little longer than usual. Johnny never rushed us and still made sure everyone was having a great time. If you’re thinking about doing a Niagara Falls tour, I definitely recommend it and if you can, ask for Johnny D specifically! He’s fun, knowledgeable, patient, and clearly knows a thing or two about the history of the Falls. Plus, he has some great stories along the way. Thanks for an unforgettable day, Johnny!

This was the perfect way to experience all the main attractions we wanted to see at Niagara Falls. We visited the Skylon Tower, then Journey Behind the Falls, and finally enjoyed the boat tour right beneath the falls. Our guide was fantastic—very friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. He managed everything perfectly and shared lots of interesting facts and stories along the way, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We were really happy we booked this experience, as it saved us a lot of time, especially when it came to figuring out where to go and how to get around. The group also gets priority access to Journey Behind the Falls, which was a great bonus. Highly recommended! A fantastic experience and definitely worth booking.

My experience was amazing. Kevin my tour guide was very knowledgeable. The walk to each location on our stop was a easy walk, as we walk, Kevin gave us some information, which make it interesting as we go. The Hornblower cruise, goes right up close to the fall, you well get completely wet. I hundred percent recommend!

Before we even got to the falls, our guide gave us some great information regarding the area and how the falls came to be the attraction it now is. Behind the falls is a can't miss too (don't just do the boat ride). Once on the boat, the operator got us super close to the falls making for great photo opportunities.

Signing up for the tour takes all the guess work out of the visit. Guide has all the tickets, knows where the entrances are and how to get from place to place. Let's you enjoy the sights fully. The cruise is fun because it takes you much closer to the falls than you expect!

What to bring

Footwear and bags: Bring comfortable shoes and a waterproof bag to protect yourself and your belongings from the mist.

Weather gear: Bring weather-appropriate clothing and water, especially for longer or evening tours.

Additional information

Seasonal cruise note: The Hornblower or Niagara City Cruises operate seasonally and are replaced by other attractions in winter.

Winter substitutions: Winter replacements may include Skylon Tower, Butterfly Conservatory, Niagara Parks Power Station, or Niagara Takes Flight, depending on the tour.

Restrooms: Restroom access is limited, so please use the facilities before your tour begins.

Parking: No parking is available at the tour meeting point. Two main paid lots are available on Niagara Parkway year-round.

Parking Lot A: Parking Lot A is closest to the Falls and is located beside the Power Station.

Parking Lot B: Parking Lot B is located at the Floral Showhouse.

Arrival time: Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your tour start time, as refunds are not possible for late arrivals or no-shows.

Group size: Small-group tours may have a maximum of 7 guests, while walking and fireworks tours may have up to 22 guests.

Tour locations: All tours operate on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls and do not require a passport.

Walking level: Moderate walking is required on guided walking and evening fireworks tours.

Fireworks: Fireworks cruises run only when Niagara fireworks are scheduled and are subject to weather and visibility.

Helicopter upgrade: A 10-minute helicopter flight may be available on select small-group tours for an extra fee.

From Toronto tours: Day trips from Toronto last about 9 hours and return between 4:30pm and 5pm, depending on traffic.

Tip for nature lovers: Nature lovers, stay alert, as you might spot peregrine falcons nesting on the cliffs at incredible diving speeds.
