This transportation service is very reliable and on time. However, keep in mind that Headout issues a QR code, and you need a paper ticket to enter the station. The paper ticket must be picked up at a station ticket window. It’s good to know in advance, and be sure to allow extra time to wait in line at the counter.

The Skyliner express was absolutely incredible. Being from New York, I know how valuable and important trains could be. Especially one with direct transport to an airport. Very clean and staff is super friendly! Definitely going to use this again my next time back!

Well the ride is excellent, but the fact that in 2026 you don't offer a trully digital ticket seems bad to me. We opted to but the tickets online thinking we would skip the crazy line for the ticket but then you had to redeem the "e-ticket" in another line!

Quick and intuitive service, we saved a ton of queue time at the airport and in less than half an hour we were at Ueno Park. From there, direct trains go to all neighborhoods, so it's great for getting to Tokyo.

Picking up the Skyliner passes was quick. On the other hand, collecting the 72-hour metro pass at Ueno is not straightforward at all. Luckily, a subway employee at Ginza station helped us!

Up to two infants (children between 1 and 6 years old who have not yet entered elementary school) may ride free of charge if they are accompanied by a paying passenger who has a boarding pass.

You can use this ticket from Narita Airport to Nippori/Ueno Station or from Nippori/Ueno to Narita Airport.

When using the Skyliner bound for Narita Airport, tickets can be collected at the Keisei Ueno Station Keisei Skyliner Ticket Counter or Skyliner ticket vending machine from 5:10am to 8:20pm. At Nippori Station, tickets can be collected from the Skyliner ticket vending machine or JR Connection Counter from 5am to 11:30pm.

When using the Skyliner bound for Keisei Ueno, tickets can be collected at Narita Airport Station (Narita Terminal 1) or Airport Terminal 2 Station (Narita Terminals 2 and 3) from 7am to 9pm via the Skyliner ticket vending machine or Skyliner information counter.

Tickets can also be collected at the Narita Airport Terminal Building Keisei Electric Railway Ticket Sales Counter.
