Four wheel drive access (jeep) and a morning visit were great for seeing a variety of animals. Definitely worth it.

Did this safari with my girlfriend and wow, what a DAY. Booked kinda last min (like, 8pm the night before lol) and they still got us sorted. Our guide, Edwin, was suuuper chill and cracked jokes the whole time. Saw so many zebras (they're literally everywhere), plus a group of giraffes that got reaaally close to the van. Missed the lions, but honestly didn’t even care because the rhinos were just EPIC. Also: bring a hat, it gets HOT in the van with the roof open. Def would do again!

Took the morning tour as a family of 4 (kids 9 & 12). Our guide, Mercy, was so sweet with the kids and even let the little one sit up front for a bit. She knew so much about all the birds which my husband LOVED. Road is a bit bumpy (I mean, it’s a park not a highway), but we got to see a rhino family and a bunch of warthogs running around. The sunrise over the city skyline was BEAUTIFUL. Bring snacks, though – there’s not much to buy once you're in.

First time ever on safari and it blew my mind. Our guide Peter was so passionate and could ID like every bird by sound alone. Loved that he stopped the van for us to watch a herd of buffalo cross the road (like, right in front of us). Felt safe the whole time. Oh, and we got super lucky – saw a lioness chilling under a tree! Bring binoculars if you can, makes it way more fun.

Went solo cuz my friends bailed last min but actually had fun. Guide Joseph tried sooo hard to get us to see the lions, but no luck (they were prob napping). Saw some baby hippos though! There were quite a lot of vans out there, so if you want like, wildlife all to urself, maybe go super early. Would recommend, just set expectations about crowds.
