The story
Set in a bright, naive world of earnest faith, The Book of Mormon follows two mismatched LDS missionaries, optimistic Elder Price and awkward Elder Cunningham, sent from Salt Lake City to a remote Ugandan village with hopes of spreading their message. Battling local hardships, cultural clashes, and their own doubts, they discover that belief isn’t always simple. As they improvise new tales to connect with villagers, their journey challenges them both. What happens when faith meets reality in the most unexpected ways?

CoupleVerified booking5 days ago5/5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Michael stole the show! I went to The Book of Mormon expecting a funny musical, but I wasn’t prepared for just how outrageously funny it would be. The show is clever, energetic and completely unapologetic, with one ridiculous moment after another. But for me, the absolute scene-stealer was Michael, the Ugandan doctor. His delivery and comedic timing were exceptional! His completely matter-of-fact explanation of his rather unfortunate medical problem had me laughing far harder than I expected. 😂 He barely needed to do anything—the timing, expressions and delivery did all the work. What I loved most was that the humour wasn’t just about the outrageous jokes. The cast had such incredible chemistry and timing that even the little reactions and throwaway moments were hilarious. I walked out thinking, “Did I really just watch a musical about THAT?” 😂 — but also knowing I’d had one of the most entertaining nights at the theatre. Five stars for the laughs, the incredible cast and, especially, Michael for completely stealing the show! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐LLeonie H
CoupleVerified booking2 days ago5/5The Show was definitely something different and unexpected but was good fun. My granddaughter and I laughed along withl the crowd. We were amazed at what you got away with - most definitely NOT "political correct" - but there should be more outspokenness like this instead of everyone being so uptight , continually taking offense at any comments spoken in jest. Well done! I'm going alone again on 29/09. 🤣🤣MM M

SoloVerified bookingLast week5/5The show was so, not what I thought the story line would be but that was the beauty of it. The signing, witty one liners, irreverent story line and just pure class of the cast made this a truly memorable performance. My first time to Glasshouse theatre as well so the whole experience was epic!JJill K
