Mountain Staycations in Innsbruck

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Nordkette Experience! Climbing the Nordkette was one of the best experiences of my trip to Innsbruck. First, I took the steep funicular railway up the mountain, which was an exciting ride with amazing views over the city. After that, I continued with the cable car to reach even higher into the mountains. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. From the top, I could see Innsbruck, the surrounding Alps, and even patches of snow. The fresh mountain air and beautiful hiking trails made the experience unforgettable. I highly recommend visiting the Nordkette if you are in Innsbruck. The combination of the steep railway, the cable car, and the incredible views makes it a perfect day trip.

It's a lot of fun, but everyone wants to head back down around 5:00 p.m., so there's a long line for the return cable car. It's still worth it, in my opinion.

Normally, I would have given it 5 stars, but the QR code didn’t work for us! We wanted to start right from the Alpenzoo to head to Top of Innsbruck first. Our QR code wasn’t valid—neither at the Hungerburgbahn nor after a walk to the Zoolasse. Since no one could help us, we drove to the Hofburg/Stadttheater parking garage to file a complaint at the ticket office at the valley station (where there isn’t even a ticket machine). This cost us parking fees at the zoo and a lot of time!!!! And before that, we had to call Headhunter, where we first went through an AI system and were then assisted in English. They were able to help us there, though, since all the online tickets purchased the day before weren’t working. We were issued physical tickets... From then on, everything was great!!!!! It’s impossible to determine exactly what caused the error or who was at fault, but in hindsight, that’s beside the point—because when everything works, the tickets are worth the money!!!! That’s why, unfortunately, only 4 out of 5 stars!!!!

We had a 1/2 day planned to visit Innsbruck. We have a 7 yr old. We purchased this on the drive and so glad we did! We went to the Top of Innsbruck and then the Alpeenzoo. We extended our day bc of these experiences. Wonderful experience!

Absolutely fantastic experience apart from delays on the first cable car, and no one was keeping us informed, queue did move for 40 minutes, hence the reduction of one star, the lack of communication, as clearly, the cable was ad supposed to be running, but was not.

I had a perfect experience ! The cashier was friendly, he was even speaking French, giving 2 tickets to my friends who were able to get into the M.Monroe exhibition and the shop. I duly quick entered the World of Svarowski
