Mount Etna is also one of the most active volcanoes on the planet but does not pose a threat to nearby dwellings. Owing to many eruptions, the volcano has grown considerably in size and this has also led to mesmerizing formations. On this half-day tour, you will get to explore lava flows and volcanic cones posed against the lush green of the surrounding forest.

As you trek along this unique path, you will also see how the complex volcanic layers on the slopes stand out on the eastern coast of Sicily. Further, you will get to visit the "Cave of Frost", an ice cave formed due to an eruption inside a lava flow.

What to bring

It is recommended to wear trekking shoes, a hat, and a jacket.
