It was a really wonderful experience. The admission price is a bit steep, but oh well. You pay the €40 admission fee if you want to go in. We walked from the parking lot, did a full loop, and then walked the roughly 800 meters uphill back to the parking lot. It took us a good three hours, including breaks. It’s all doable on foot and keeps you fit. It’s really beautiful there, and it was pleasant on Thursday morning as well. It was crowded, but you could still move around, stop, and take nice pictures.

Visiting Krka Lakes was a fantastic experience. The park is well organized, with easy access thanks to the booking system. Enjoying a packed lunch with a view of the waterfalls was incredibly relaxing and scenic. The lakes are absolutely stunning, and the ferry schedule is convenient, making the visit smooth and enjoyable.

I was there with my wife—the beautiful trails and views of that wonderful cascade of waterfalls can't be described in words; you have to see it for yourself. We also took a 4-hour boat cruise around the lake to an island with a monastery and to the largest waterfall. We spent the whole day there, exploring and admiring these wonders of nature

The trails were great, the views were fantastic, and the boat ride was relaxing. We went in May, when the admission prices are reasonable. Having to pay double in the summer, though, is a bit steep. It was a really wonderful experience for us.

The national park and the waterfalls are certainly beautiful, though I do see it as quite a tourist rip-off. During peak season, admission here costs 40 euros. In exchange, you can take a shuttle bus—included in the price—about 900 meters down to the waterfalls (there’s also a walking path that takes about 20 minutes). Inside the national park, you’ll find a 1.8-kilometer trail that winds through the park, featuring three waterfalls and several small streams. You can also take a boat—which is also included in the price and runs hourly—to a small lake in Skradin. You can swim there, but unfortunately, you’re not allowed to swim in the waterfalls themselves. You could also just drive to the lake by car… But that’s about it, unfortunately. I wouldn’t do it again; in my opinion, an admission fee of 10–15 euros per person would be appropriate.
