Features
Learning is structured around traditional and modern tufting techniques, so you can see how time-honored methods connect with contemporary styles as you progress through your design. The 2-hour hands-on workshop gives you enough time to move from first lines to a finished tufted surface.
All yarn, tools and materials are provided at your station, which keeps you focused on the process rather than sourcing supplies. Professional guidance during the tufting workshop from the Cooperative Fajr Taftacht women helps you handle the tools confidently and refine your technique.
A finished tufted piece to take home is the outcome of your work, turning the session into a concrete creative project rather than just a demonstration. You also receive a photo souvenir that captures you and your piece, which you can share or keep as a record of your time in Essaouira.
During the session, water or tea is included so you can pause briefly between steps without leaving the workspace. Hotel pickup and drop-off, food and drinks, and gratuities are not included, so you can plan these elements separately.
