Wizyta w Kopalni Soli „Wieliczka” to absolutny majstersztyk, jednak to genialny przewodnik sprawił, że ta wycieczka zamieniła się w prawdziwą przygodę. Od samego wejścia i zejścia monumentalnymi schodami w dół, aż po wyjazd dynamiczną, górniczą windą, cała trasa była perfekcyjnie zorganizowana. Podziemny świat zapiera dech w piersiach. Trasa Turystyczna prowadzi przez niesamowite, surowe komory i klimatyczne korytarze. Prawdziwym punktem kulminacyjnym, na który wszyscy czekali, była oczywiście Kaplica św. Kingi. Kunszt i precyzja, z jaką wykuto w soli te wszystkie żyrandole, płaskorzeźby i ołtarze, po prostu odbierają mowę. Do tego dochodzą magiczne, podziemne jeziora solankowe o niezwykłych barwach, które robią piorunujące wrażenie na żywo. To, co jednak wyróżnia tę wycieczkę, to pasja i wiedza przewodnika. Zamiast nudnego recytowania suchych faktów, zostaliśmy zasypani genialnymi anegdotami o dawnej pracy górników, roli koni pod ziemią oraz legendami o Skarbniku i pierścieniu św. Kingi. Przewodnik miał świetne poczucie humoru, dbał o tempo grupy i potrafił zaciekawić każdego – od najmłodszych po starszych. Bez tych opowieści to miejsce byłoby „tylko” pięknym podziemiem, a z nim stało się fascynującą podróżą w czasie. Wskazówka dla innych: Warto zabrać wygodne buty (schodów i chodzenia jest sporo!) oraz coś cieplejszego do ubrania, bo pod ziemią panuje stała, rześka temperatura. Like descending into another planet. The Wieliczka Salt Mine isn't a "mine" — it's a 700-year-old underground city carved entirely out of salt. You go down 800 steps and suddenly you're walking through grey salt tunnels, then a massive chapel where EVERYTHING - the chandeliers, the altar, the statues - is made of salt. The St. Kinga's Chapel literally took my breath away. It's cold (17°C year-round), it's deep (135m underground), and it's surreal. The acoustics, the underground lakes, the air that tastes salty... you feel the weight of centuries of miners who created this. Tip: Book the first morning tour. No crowds, and the light inside the chapel is magical. A must-do in Krakow. 10/10.

Je recommande cette visite sans hésiter, vous allez descendre a 135 m de profondeur. Et voir comme des hommes et les animaux ont travaillé pour pouvoir extraire le sel. Cela va vous émerveiller par son histoire, ses galeries immenses, ces chapelles, ces lacs.... Pour les français, je recommande le guide Marek Czyzowsk (Marc) un super guide qui vous expliquera l'histoire et les merveilles de cette mine avec un pointe humour pour passer une agréable visite. Je remercie Marek pour ce moment inoubliable, un très grand merci à lui, il a su animé cette visite avec professionnalisme et humour pour pouvoir passer un agréable moment. Un guide en or. Es war einfach sehr komfortabel, von einem Fahrer abgeholt zu werden und gleich die Tickets zu bekommen. Da das Bergwerk sehr gut besucht ist, kann ich so eine Tour nur empfehlen. Wir mussten keinen Parkplatz suchen und nicht ewig in der Warteschlange stehen, um Ticketss zu erwerben. Unser Fahrer hat alles sehr gut erklärt, ddie Führung war sehr schön und auf dem Rückweg konnten wir uns entspannen, weil wir ja nicht selber fahren mussten. Ein wirklich toller Service. Vielen Dank.

Die vielen parallelen Führungen sind zeitlich extrem durchorganisiert. Etwas überspitzt formuliert: Man wird 'durchgejagd'. Extrem war der anschließende Museumsbesuch. Sprichwörtlich im Soldaten-Schnell-Marsch absolvierten wir alle Museenräume und Museums-Hallen in 20 Minuten! Für die große Hl. Barbara-Halle waren 5 Minuten Zeit. Schade, denn das einzigartige und großartige Salzberkwerk hätte mehr WÜRDIGUNG verdient.

What a spectacular visit. Our guide was so knowledgeable and made the tour interesting rather than recite lots of data to us. She also respected the groups in front of us too by holding back to allow them to visit the rooms before moving us on. Well worth the visit and I can highly recommend... the skills of those miners is off the scale xxx The return to the ground level was so exciting too 😊

Début mitigé, car notre réservation a été décalée de 3h... par manque de guide français dispo a priori (on ne se plaint pas, car un français s'est vu annuler sa visite à Auschwitz alors que réservation longtemps à l'avance...). Visite intéressante et site impressionnant. Existe une autre visite plus interactive avec simulation d'être mineur (a priori très bien d'après quelqu'un l'ayant fait la veille). Pas de souci avec les marches (env. 900 et que de la descente) et remontée en ascenseur. A faire

En general es un buen tour, caminas mucho por las minas y te van explicando la historia de la mina en el trayecto. Diría que le pongo 4 estrellas nada más porque no se le entendía bien al guía por su acento ( el tour fue en inglés ). Pero todo lo demás bien en general, el templo es lo que más destaca del tour en mi opinión

Although the guide was great, the best part was the fantastic experience itself. Walking through the underground chambers, carvings and chapels of the Wieliczka Salt Mine was something special. The tour was well organised and easy to follow, and it made for a memorable day. I would happily recommend it.

Una experiencia excelente. La visita a la mina de sal de Wieliczka fue muy interesante y bien organizada. El guía explicó todo de forma clara y amena, y los espacios subterráneos son impresionantes. Sin duda, una excursión muy recomendable desde Cracovia.

Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1978, the Wieliczka Salt Mine has operated continuously since the 13th century and is one of Poland’s most treasured cultural monuments. Descend 800 stairs to explore a vast underground world, reaching a depth of 135 meters.

What to bring

Footwear: Comfortable shoes are recommended.

Warm clothing: Bring warm clothing as the temperature underground ranges between 14° and 16° C.

What’s not allowed

Bags: Luggage larger than 30 x 20 x 10 centimeters is not permitted (can be left on the bus if applicable).

Accessibility

Mobility: There are approximately 800 steps to climb, with 350 at the beginning to descend into the mine. Not suitable for wheelchair users or people with mobility impairments.

Additional information

Claustrophobia: The tour is not recommended for anyone with claustrophobia.

Group size: Maximum group size is 40 visitors per guide.

Pace: The pace and duration of guided tours are determined by visitor service regulations; duration is approximate.

Toilet: Toilet facilities are spaced along the route at approximately 40 and 90 minutes from the start of the visit.

Child seat: If your child is less than 150 cm tall, please inform the local partner so a child seat can be arranged.

Pickup: Your pickup time and/or tour entry time may be adjusted due to venue availability; you will be informed by the activity provider if necessary.
