What to expect

Lille's Golden Hand mystery city route

This experience turns the heart of Lille into your playing field as you track the Golden Hand, an elusive counterfeiter. You move through open-air city streets and squares at your own pace, exploring both must-see spots and hidden treasures while you play the role of a detective.

Features

• Highlights include following the trail of the Golden Hand across Lille while you visit famous landmarks, uncover hidden corners, and learn historical facts and local legends through the game clues. The storyline is designed as an interactive and immersive adventure in the city center, with Lille’s must-see spots shaping your route.
• Your access to this self-guided city exploration game on your smartphone is provided through the Questo app as a self-guided smartphone mystery game, so you control the pace and route without a physical guide. The open-air format helps you avoid busy crowds while you explore on foot in your own small group or solo.
• Throughout the route, you tackle puzzles, challenges, and detective-style tasks that require observation and problem-solving to unlock each next location. These puzzles, challenges, and detective-style tasks turn the experience into an active investigation rather than a passive walk, keeping both adults and older kids engaged.
• The experience is built for flexibility, with the option to start, pause, and resume anytime so you can take breaks for photos or refreshments and continue later. Full availability runs 24-7 every day, supported by in-app guidance and 24-7 customer support if you need help with access or gameplay at any point.

Wrapping up

Once you solve the final Golden Hand clue, you can simply close the app or keep exploring Lille independently from wherever you finish, using nearby public transportation or walking to your next stop.
