It was ok, at times QR code was not readable and so a small ticket was issued to pass through the gates. Would have been good to have the option of a physical ticket too.

In fast allen Fällen war ein reibungsloser Transfer möglich. Hin und wieder, vermutlich wegen Verbindungsproblemen des Smartphones, war ein auschecken aus dem U-Bahn-Bereich nicht möglich. Das Personal war stets hilfsbereit und sehr bemüht auf Englisch zu antworten.Ich würde das Ticket wieder nehmen!

Choose a 24-hour, 48-hour, or 72-hour ticket, with validity starting from your first gate entry after pressing the “Start Use” button. Your voucher can be activated within 90 days of purchase, giving you flexibility to begin using the ticket when you’re ready. The ticket is designed for visitors traveling to Tokyo from overseas or from outside the Tokyo metropolitan region and surrounding prefectures, making it a practical way to get around the city’s subway network.

What to bring

A smartphone capable of displaying the QR ticket for scanning at automatic ticket gates.

What’s not allowed

Printed QR codes or screenshots cannot be used to pass through ticket gates.

The ticket cannot be used on lines other than Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway lines.

Accessibility

If a ticket gate does not support QR scanning, contact station staff or use the intercom at the gate for assistance.

Press the “Start Use” button before scanning the QR code at the ticket gate.

The ticket becomes valid from the first gate entry and is valid for 24, 48, or 72 hours depending on the option selected.

Tickets must be used on the smartphone device where the QR code is stored. If the device cannot display the ticket (for example due to battery depletion), regular fare will be required.

Multiple tickets purchased in one transaction can be distributed to other smartphone devices before first use so passengers can travel separately.

Refunds are available only before starting use and within the validity period, with a ¥220 handling fee per transaction.
