Visiting Tivoli Gardens was such a beautiful and nostalgic experience. Having moved abroad as a child, returning brought back so many cherished memories of my childhood in Copenhagen. Walking through the gardens again rekindled that same sense of wonder and excitement I felt all those years ago. For a moment, it felt as though time had stood still. Tivoli truly is a magical place, filled with charm, beauty and something for all ages. I would highly recommend visiting, whether you’re exploring Copenhagen for the first time or simply looking to create unforgettable memories. It will always hold a special place in my heart :)

We went to Tivoli Gardens and booked via Headout in advance. This made for a very smooth entry and guaranteed us entry too. I feel that we also saved money doing this via Headout. Definitely recommend booking tickets in advance with this app.

Un luogo magico che unisce fascino storico e puro divertimento. I curatissimi giardini fioriti e le mille luci serali creano un'atmosfera fiabesca, mentre le giostre d'epoca e le emozionanti montagne russe sanno conquistare ogni generazione. Tra musica, spettacoli e attrazioni vintage perfettamente conservate, è un'esperienza indimenticabile che incanta davvero grandi e piccini. Imperdibile!

We came specifically watch the flower exhibitions, not for the rides. We 3 couples (one from US, two from Sweden) on holiday. Thoroughly enjoyed the park and the flower shows. Awesome. Had a little experience of icecream in the cafe inside. Well decorated and maintained. Found entertaining for all age groups.

Its 40 years since I was there and there is still plenty to do and see. There are much improved interactive activities for all members of the family. The artistry and participatory evens are great for all ages amdmof course the flora is spectacular. Whatever your taste in food its available on site also.

Easy entry with prebooked tickets. Such a beautiful garden. Had dinner at the Groften restaurant which has been in Tivoli since the beginning. Disappointed with the food court as there was only one stall serving danish food (just sandwiches) all the others were foreign food with lots of Asian.

What to bring

Consider bringing your own food and non-alcoholic beverages, which can be enjoyed in designated garden areas and on benches.

Keep the Tivoli app ready and log in before your ride if you wish to download ride photos directly to your phone.

What’s not allowed

Due to venue restrictions, your pets are not allowed.

Large bags, suitcases, bicycles, mopeds, roller skates, skateboards, scooters, alcoholic beverages, drugs, and any form of intoxication are not allowed inside the Gardens.

Smoking and e-cigarettes are only permitted in designated smoking zones.

Bare feet and bare upper bodies are not allowed; shoes and clothing must be worn at all times.

Littering, vandalism, and aggressive or disruptive behaviour are strictly prohibited.

Erecting placards, distributing brochures, political propaganda, and picking flowers or plants are not allowed.

Food and drinks cannot be brought onto the rides.

Accessibility

Tivoli Gardens is wheelchair accessible; visitors may bring electric or manual wheelchairs.

Accessible restrooms are available throughout the park.

Baby changing facilities are available at several restrooms across the Gardens.

Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue.

Additional information

Your ticket is valid for a single visit for one person on the selected date.

Children under 3 years enjoy free entrance when accompanied by a paying adult (one adult may accompany up to four children under 3; additional children require a child ticket).

Children under 1 year can try rides without a Ride Pass when accompanied by a paying person over 14 years of age, subject to ride safety and height requirements.

All rides have specific age, height, and health restrictions; please read the guidelines for each ride and follow staff instructions.

Ride Passes do not include certain seasonal rides and do not grant access to Haunted House and Villa Vendetta during Halloween.

Tickets are scanned at the entrance; for Ride Passes, scan your ticket at the self-service machine inside the Gardens.

On Fridays with Friday Rock events, different entry prices apply depending on entry time (before or after 6pm), and access may be restricted if capacity is reached.

If you leave and wish to re-enter, you must exit through Tivoli Food Hall and obtain a re-entry stamp; re-entry may not be possible during major events.

Facilities: Cloakroom and luggage lockers, restrooms, first-aid, and lost and found.
