Family, fun & forest magic 🌿 Our visit to The Habitat, Penang Hill was truly unforgettable. Nine of us, including five energetic teenagers, explored nature together and soaked ourselves in the immense beauty of the greens and created beautiful memories together. From swinging on the giant swing to walking through the breathtaking canopy, every moment felt serene and magical. We were surrounded by diverse flowers and plants, and even spotted the adorable dusky leaf monkey in its natural home. The cool weather, fresh air, and stunning views made every step of the long walk worthwhile. We laughed, took countless photos, and reconnected with nature. The Habitat isn’t just a place to visit, it’s a place to feel alive. 🌿✨

Perched high above the bustling city of George Town, Habitat Penang Hill is a nature lover's paradise that'll make your heart skip a beat. This lush escape features a 1.6km nature trail, complete with suspended walkways and pocket gardens that showcase a variety of tropical plant species.

A true highlight of the experience is The Habitat, home to the stunning Langur Way Canopy that takes you across the world’s longest double-span ribbon bridge, offering a stellar view of the 130-million-year-old tropical rainforest and the sparkling Andaman Sea. Keep your eyes peeled for dusky leaf monkeys, flying lemurs, and if you're really lucky, maybe even a Sunda colugo!

The star of the show? That'd be the Curtis Crest Tree Top Walk. The highest public viewpoint on the island, gives you a jaw-dropping 360-degree view of Penang. Penang Hill, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since 2019, is not just about scenic beauty. It's also steeped in history as one of Asia’s oldest hill stations, first established by British settlers. Getting there is an adventure in itself—hop on the iconic funicular railway, which has been operating for 100 years. Visitors entering after 5:30pm are required to purchase an Evening Walk Add-On Ticket at RM18 per person.

Standard Entrance Ticket (Non-Evening Walk) holders must exit the park by 7:00pm.

Evening Walk visitors may exit at any time via the main entrance, and the park officially closes at 9:00pm.

The Evening Walk includes the opportunity to enjoy a sunset view and join a complimentary Night Walk, both of which are weather-dependent and not guaranteed.

When weather permits, the Night Walk begins at Curtis Crest around 7:45pm (once it's sufficiently dark), lasts approximately one hour, and concludes at the main entrance by 8:45pm.
