Pentru câteva minute, în vârful Fansipan, noi am fost cei mai înalți oameni din Indochina. Am avut și șansă de a avea o vreme acceptabilă, fără ploaie și o temperatură destul de plăcută. Fiind unul dintre punctele turistice cele mai căutate și vizitate ale Vietnamului, ne bucurăm că am bifat și noi obiectivul. Odată în viață... 😀

It was a amazing experience. The big down side was having to walk up the hill and then enter the building then walking all the way down again to get the cable car. When you could just walk a little way and enter the building at the same level as where you get on the cable car . I have 2 bad knees and there were a lot of people struggling to get up the hill. This was the the only down side the rest was amazing and this is coming from someone who spent 20 years in Switzerland

Really enjoyed Fansipan and the cable car. Booking via Headout was hassle-free. The experience was magical, though it got quite crowded midday so I’d suggest morning slots. Would book again.

Used the app for the tickets and everything went smoothly. Enjoyed the three different rides a lot. We were lucky with the weather, there were breaks in the clouds. The clouds moving in gave a nice, eerie feeling to the different sites as well. All in all a great experience.

We enjoyed our day at Fansipan even though the mountain was covered in thick cloud which made it difficult to see the sights it did give the whole place a special eerie feel.

Start with the Muong Hoa Monorail and glide past Sapa’s iconic rice terraces to the cable car base.

Ride the record-breaking cable car across Muong Hoa Valley, climbing nearly 1,500m in just 15 minutes.

Skip over 600 steep summit steps by boarding the Peak Rail funicular directly to Fansipan’s summit.

Saw the linr to get tickets and pivoted to star bucks to get a coffee and ordered tickets. Took 5 minutes or less and bypassed all the lines.

Getting started

Begin at Sapa Station, where your journey kicks off with a peaceful ride on the Muong Hoa Monorail through rice terraces and highland villages. At Hoang Lien Station, board the world-record Fansipan cable car and glide above Muong Hoa Valley to reach Fansipan Station. From there, take the one-way Peak Rail funicular straight to the summit—no steps, just stunning views.

Located at 3,143 meters, this mountaintop complex offers a serene blend of cultural architecture, tranquil trails, and panoramic viewpoints.

Peak Rail is the same as Fanispan Funicular.

Muong Hoa Monorail: 7:45am–2:15pm (Mon–Thu), 3:15pm (Fri), 7:15am–3:15pm (Sat), 2:15pm (Sun)

Cable car: 8am–2:30pm (Mon–Thu), 3:30pm (Fri–Sat), 2:30pm (Sun)

Peak Rail (Fansipan Funicular): 8:30am–3pm (Mon–Thu), 4pm (Fri), 8am–4pm (Sat–Sun)

Children should show a household registration book or birth certificate at the ticket office and ticket control gate.

Children must be between 1m and 1.4m tall to access the kids' buffet.

Buffet tickets are available at Van Sam Restaurant on the M floor and 2nd floor of the departure station (Hoang Lien station).

Luggage storage is included.
