⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Une visite exceptionnelle grâce à Marc, un guide remarquable ! Nous avons eu la chance de découvrir les musées du Vatican et la Chapelle Sixtine en compagnie de Marc, un guide absolument exceptionnel ! Passionné, érudit, pédagogue et particulièrement sympathique, Marc a su transformer cette visite en une expérience aussi passionnante qu’enrichissante. Ses connaissances impressionnantes, la clarté de ses explications et ses nombreuses anecdotes nous ont permis de découvrir ces lieux extraordinaires sous un regard totalement différent. Au-delà de ses compétences indéniables, nous avons particulièrement apprécié son enthousiasme communicatif, sa disponibilité et son talent pour captiver son auditoire du début à la fin. Un immense merci à Marc, qui a largement contribué à faire de cette visite l’un des moments les plus mémorables de notre séjour à Rome. Nous le recommandons sans la moindre réserve. Si vous avez la chance de visiter le Vatican avec Marc, vous êtes entre d’excellentes mains ! Une prestation remarquable qui mérite bien plus que cinq étoiles !

St. Peter’s Basilica is absolutely magnificent! It is enormous, with art everywhere and breathtaking paintings that make every corner impressive. Below, you can discover the tombs of the popes. The dome offers a fantastic view of Rome. I spent around 15 minutes up there, simply enjoying the view, but I could have easily stayed one hour if there hadn’t been other visitors. It was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. My ticket included the elevator, which made the climb easier, and the remaining stairs were not tiring at all. For me, it was enough to breathe steadily. Going down the stairs, however, was much more adventurous, so I did not take the lift at all! The whole basilica is a true masterpiece, and Michelangelo’s artwork inside makes it feel like an extraordinary museum as well. An unforgettable experience!

Die Tickets und der Audioguidezugang kamen einen Tag vorher an. Das Herunterladen für alle gebuchten Personen hat gut funktioniert. Der schriftliche Guide hat leider nicht funktioniert. Wir waren gut 2 Stunden vorher da. Der Einlass war innerhalb von 15 Minuten erledigt. Personalausweise brauchten wir keine vorzeigen. Falls die Kleidung zu freizügig ist, werden kostenlos Tücher verteilt. Es war kein Problem, früher in den Dom zu gehen. Auch der Kuppelbesuch war schon früher möglich. Gut zu wissen: der Kuppelzugang mit den reservierten Karten befindet sich im Dom selbst vor dem Ausgang auf der rechten Seite (nicht - wie ausgeschildert - bei den Toiletten). Es gab keine Zeitbegrenzung für die Kuppel. Anschließend kann man auch wieder in den Dom. Ein sehr beeindruckendes Erlebnis!

This place is stunning and has left quite an impression on my wife and myself. Well worth the money and the wait. There's alot to see, so make sure to get there on time. A few tips: if your taking dome access by lift, we had to queue up for quite a long time. The line for stair access was much, much shorter (there was practically no line) but 500+ stairs is not for everyone. Just keep the extra waiting time in mind if you're taking the lift. Also, the inside of the dome is just part of dome access, you can go all the way to the rooftop outside, but we almost missed that (that's on us). That being said, those stairs are especially narrow, mostly near the very top. 10/10 would still recommend the climb!

Nos gustó mucho la dinámica, fue sencillo llegar a los puntos de encuentro y muy rápido el acceso al Vaticano y a la basílica de san Pedro. Fueron muy accesibles y muy amables nuestros anfitriones y aunque puede ser un poco complicado si no hablas italiano, encontramos la forma de entendernos y hubo quienes entendieron inglés y una chica en español por lo que nos facilitó Aún más la comunicación. Gracias a todos los involucrados y aunque nos cancelaron la Experiencia del coliseo la Noche anterior tratamos de disfrutar el panorama por fuera y nos Dieron respuesta rápida sobre el Reembolso correspondiente.

Very easy to find the office, guide arrived on time. Very knowledgeable and friendly, he took great care of the group. There was a delay on entering that was not his fault, but he stayed on and did the time anyway, which was very kind. My only concern was the length of the tour, despite the Vatican delay, the dome walk had its own queue that would have taken an hour to pass through. I think this should be made more obvious upon booking, as we were starving and tired and had to sadly leave it. A bit of transparency would not hurt a tour description!!

Unser Guide ist vertretungsweise eingesprungen und die Tour hat verspätet begonnen, nicht seine Schuld. Er hat die Tour mit seinem fundierten Wissen interessant und sehr unterhaltsam gestaltet. Wir waren von der Größe und dem Prunkt des Petersdoms überwältigt. Leider konnte unsere Gruppe die Kuppel nicht besuchen, weil diese den kompletten Mittag gesperrt war. Der Guide hat uns empfohlen, eine anteilige Rückerstattung beim Anbieter geltend zu machen - bisher ohne Erfolg.

Booked this simply because we were planning to see Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel earlier in the day & had a meal planned nearby early evening...glad we booked the dome & elevator. Loved it. Spectacular views of Tome from the top of the cupola and of the altar and basilica from the internal walkway. The most unexpected treat in Roma so far.
